If you put tada! card (lynette card) in the deck, it will be the best counter against freeze decks. It helps getting you out from the freeze condition. This card is freeze decks's worst nightmare. HSC and MEW meta decks are afraid of this card. Yep freeze is now easier to counter
Also, rip whale 4.7-4.8. Had so much fun feeding the whale, especially back when marechausse is viable and broken with the whale. You can also try the other nerfed whale deck variants like kaveh whale decks and the 4.7 meta conwhale deck that was nerfed in 4.8 (consecrated beast and whale)

@@fortelul not only you free yourself from the annoying freeze but you also get 1 card in the end of the round. Helps more in feeding da hungry whale.

I think whales death by this nerf is greatly exaggerated, still an insanely potent anchor it just lost the free dice/card draw from veterans/maruchusse and a bit of damage, you think of any other anchor and they would have died in that matchup, imo the nerf was perfect, strong but with counters is where wale is at

Whale after being nerf imo isnt become unplayable, its just becomes much much weaker since all the effects only happen in the end so you can't stall with whale anymore😂

also can't generate dice and draw cards with marechausse. That was the most op part of whale

Tbh all they needed to do was make whale eat 6 cards for 6 hp or something like that. This nerf was too harsh.
Especially with the obvious bias for cyno who only got his talents damage split up so he can't 1 shot with pyro res or burst mode up. And also the drill nerf so he can't free apply pyro i guess but how many chervuse cards do you get per round....
Before i hoped for whales downfall, now i wish to see it in a meta viable team again.... its now just crab. I guess whale is balanced then

Apep gains the hp from eating cards on the next round rather than instant, also the dmg from skill is reduced from 5 to 4
