This is essentially called Rustic Terrazzo. Very similar. It’s an old school practiced art. And not for beginners without LOTS of practice. It’s harder than it looks. Nice work by this crew ! 👍🏼
thanks again my friend. you can make it and its no big deal to do the pebble dashing on wall.only you need simply a rendering skills and time. hoply i can see the pebble stone all around your house. please see my another videos that i answer the same quiction like yours. thanks again. sorry for my poor engljsh. if you need any help let me know. cheer...
Nice result ... but this video seems like a part 2 ....where is the job being done from the start. I see only cement being troweled level before being sponged off to revel the small stones. But how did the stones get there in the first place? Peace
thanks again for sharing this and also sharing the information on mixes excreta i would love to try this type of plastering out and if i ever get a job i will be watching this video before i start do you have any other video s like this?
only way i would do it as a trial here in uk is try mix sand/cement with stones then trowel on the walls let it go off or set abit then sponge float surface cement off to reveal the finish stones.
So, a layer of external tile adhesive first, then a mixture of lime, stone and cement all mixed to form a plaster of sorts, then applied and flattened, and finally a sponge to remove excess cement? Looks good, makes a difference from the old, flaky pebble-dash finish. Do you add any waterproofer or rely on the lime to keep the water out?
Aquí esa china se llama canto rodado y yo lo saco igual pero al revés doy la pasta y tiro la China con recogedor de hierro luego la aplastó suave y le doy un paso de llana limpia queda igual nunca lo avia visto así pero me gusta ..
It seems it goes like this. You built walls using small stones and cement and no sand. Then you plaster the wall so as to minimize the gaps between the stones. Excess you wipe away to render a non dust accumulating finish with a great texture. Surely a thing to learn for someone like me.
I guess they have the small crushed colored stone mixed with normal sand cement mix then they use some type of acid to remove the extra plaster mix that covers those stones
En España. Se hacía con piedra de mármol triturado. Piedra de río que me parece que es la que an usado en el vídeo. Y antiguamente usaban trocitos de cristal triturado que se prohibió por qué podía cortar
Thank you for your comment and we are sorry for late reply but this is due to a busy schedule. Once you have used this type of application, it gets easier and with little practice, everyone can try it out!
Thank you for watching our video and for leaving your comment. To answer your question, yes, we are not washing but wiping out any extra and unnecessary residue cement from the layer of pebble or (small) stone application. The way we apply pebble stone id directly mix the stones into the cement mixture. From here, we apply the cement and added stone mixture in the same way as we would if it was just cement alone. Then, after about 15 minutes, we then use a large sponge and wipe the surface clean until the small stone or pebbles shine through. The reason we do it this way is in order to achieve a more pebble solid application on the wall. If you have any other queries or questions, we would be happy to try answer as best as possible. Thank you.

Sky Lark ... instead of wiping off with sponge....we mix 1kg of sugar /6 lt of water and saturate pebble/render. when cement paste has almost set.....wait till really hard and simply rinse of excess paste with high pressure hose. i am from tropical climate too so it does work in hot/humid conditions. but you also need access to power and tap water. so i will remember your method next time we work somewhere without access to these things. thankyou. great job
i think i seen this in Spain finished once before and couldn't figure out how it had been done as i only seen the finished product. this is great workmanship with a perfect finish. i am very impressed with both the technique used and the final result. i am based in ireland. what type of climate would you be working in the most? do you think the climate is a factor in why we do things differently as it is mostly damp and cold here. where are you from aswell? thanks for sharing and THUMBS UP
Two minutes in and not a word of description. For people who already know how to do this, no video is needed. For people who don't, music does not explain the process. Not really helpful.
esta bueno pero para que son las columnas ???? despues van rejas y no le dejaron los hierros afueres noo van a picar para amurar las rejas!!!!jajajajaj!!!
*#Questions**:* *_1._*_ Can you stick granite to concrete countertop directly?_ _★If not then what to do?_ *_2._*_ Can we just place a rubber mat of 1cm thickness over the concrete and place the granite countertop over the mat directly without sticking it with the rubber mat?_ Someone answer me please... 😫🙏🙏💓

Mix cement with stones
What's the point of this video? A waste of time unless you want to see someone wiping off cement with a damp sponge.
