- Twenty One Pilots walked into a packed Seacrest Studio at Children's Hospital Colorado to meet some amazing kids and field a few especially witty and thoughtful questions.

The last thing Tyler said I really needed to hear. Most the time I feel like I’m just being dramatic, that what I’m feeling isn’t valid, that my reasons for having panic attacks are dumb, that my mind is ridiculous. Just hearing him say these things aren’t true is so comforting and helps me feel like someone understands
Yes! It hit so close to home for me. I tried to write a couple songs but I never want to show anyone because they sound really dramatic/"edgy" (and Tbh since they are my first attempts and genuinely not very good haha) and on some level I feel what I wrote but I question if I will come across as worse off mentally, because if I put it into perspective things aren't really tHat bad so..then end up just not even trying to write anything. Tyler saying that is the perfect encouragement I needed to try to write.

At 1:07, very empowering, when Tyler says something about tapping into the power of his mind to get through difficult times: "When I felt like there was NO WAY that I was going to get through this, I would sit down and I would IMAGINE that I had already gotten through it, and how it would FEEL, and then turn around and continue to work through that thing. So PUTTING YOURSELF THERE is very helpful in times like that."

hi, i come back to this video for nostalgia. i was there, at 16. when i found out i’d meet them i cried for the first time since my diagnosis. i walked and stood for a picture even though i would do it for no one else. this was my favorite moment, in my life.

The things that Tyler said about music are so true. Before I started listening to Twenty one Pilots I was a mess. I never thought that I could ever relate to music so much. I basically started to feel again.

i’m crying. i’ve never seen such amazing people.
i come back to this video for nostalgia because it was my best memory of that couple of years of my life. when i found out i’d see them it was my first cry since my cancer diagnosis. i intended to wear my beanie in the picture but instead i had them sign it. i’m in remission now, but i still remember singing the songs with all of the kiddos before they arrived to the studio. it warms my heart more than i’ll ever fully comprehend.
