I found a new glitch in the forest ps which allows you to climb to height limit, you do this glitch by placing a platform then a wooden wall and the edge so it’s tilting off a little bit the place a climbing rope in the wall then find the input to climb it and you can climb it to space
Are you serious? You should google what speedrunning is about, there is literally a whole wikipedia page explaining it. Using glitches and manipulating the game in such a way others wouldn't think is possible is the most interesting thing about speedrunning imho. Especially since not everyone can pull them off.
@@Unmployable You are making no sense. Wheter or not you see a point in it, that is the very definition of speedrunning. "Many games have opportunities to disarrange the intended sequence of events and skip entire parts of it - often called sequence breaking - and many more have programming mistakes, or glitches, that a skillful player can exploit to their advantage." If you want to watch a speedrun without glitches go ahead and watch a glitchless run. And again, most people, me included, like glitched runs more. They are more entertaining to watch and require a higher skill level in most cases. If you don't like it fine, but it doesn't disqualify it from being a speedrun and it certainly isn't "dumb". Trying to find those glitches and replicate them is often a hard piece of work since a lot of technical limitations etc. play a part in them. It's way more technical than you give it credit for.
for exactly this statement there are different categories. For like playing the game normally (glitchless) and try to be as fast as possible and like break the game as much as you can and be as fast as possible. If you dont like one of the categories there sometimes will be a different one. So yeah both is considered speedrunning. And yes i know this comment is from 5 months ago.

But the game was created by someone. There is no point in doing it. You are not speed running the game if you can glitch straight to the end.
