It looks great on there., I went to Harbor freight last week and got the one that goes into the hitch., I'm going to get the one you have to. Nice job you did.
*You could start a heck of a side business customizing golf carts!* There are many affluent people in the NE who would pay handsomely to have a customized gorgeous golf cart like that on their property. Lots of country businesses, horse farms, etc. Prestigious to own one and you could charge a bundle. That cart is going to be a work of art when you are finished with it. Eagerly awaiting to see what you add to it next. LOL. Beautiful wire basket and I love those neon pink buckets. My my! Your wife (and dogs) must feel like the Queen with her royal consorts driving that around.
Thanks. Done with it for now. It is very handy and gets used daily. I sold some items on craigslist and when they were picked up the couple saw the cart and wanted to buy it for their property so there definitely is a market for them. My wife loves it and always has a smile when driving around the yard. Thanks for watching.
You are a very patient man, I would have lost it trying. I’d sent the url of this video to harbor freight and show them what you went through to get the job done. Almost everyone else would have given up and returned it. The channel just keeps getting better.
You don't have much of a choice when you wait a couple months to assemble an item. I posted a 2 star review listing the issues and they haven't posted it. I wonder who writes the reviews they show. I expected better with all the great products I have purchased from them in the past. Last 2 items have been poorly made and I will think twice about buying from them now. Thanks for watching.
Nice job. I'm saving up for an 64" L X 8" deep basket for my car, "however" I'm going to add black plastic corticated board to the bottom of the basket to keep all sun off the roof....😅
Thanks. UPS has become a nightmare over the last year. It's not bad looking once you get it together and repainted. I expected better from Harbor freight after all my previous purchases from them. Could have been a great value if the quality was better. Thanks for watching.
That cart gets used daily. It is very handy. The cameo 3 has been running constantly cutting signs, t shirt transfers, and now canning jar labels. Thanks for watching.
I was worried you were gonna get your beard caught in the drill motor 🤣 Great video. I'm gonna pick one of these racks up too, but now I know what im in for.
That's too bad it was so hard to assemble. I don't think I would have tried for that long. Frustration would have made me chuck it back into the box. You persevered and got it done, good for you. After you painted it and did your signs, it looks pretty good. I hope it's handy enough to make up for the assembly crap. :) Thanks.
It must have all deformed from the welding heat and from the looks of all the scratches in the mating areas they had a problem before boxing it up and just let it go. Its amazing the things we use that cart for anymore. I hate when a 5 minute job turns into a 2 hour job because of poor manufacturing quality. Thanks for watching.
Well done. Looked like a bit of a fight there. Shame really as you are right they should have used matching jigs and it would have just slotted together.
You can see where all the paint was scrapped off from someone at the factory that must have been trying to force it into something before packaging and shipping. Should have slid right together as you say. I wonder if they are all misaligned like this? Thanks for watching.
Hey man, almost a year later, wondering how your HF rack is holding up? I'm looking for rack for my Honda CR-V from 1998. Unfortunately it also doesn't have factory rails like your golf cart, so I'd have to do some rigging myself, too. What do you think about doing a follow up video? I'd love to see one! Hope you're doing well and staying healthy! God bless!
Not much going to happen to it on a golf cart that's only out of the garage on sunny days. looks exactly the same. It definitely would be hard to safely mount on a car without rails. Thanks for watching
You don't happen to still have the brackets it came with do you? My son had the rack on his Jeep and it got wrecked, we saved the basket and the spacers but two of the brackets were damaged.
Did you call harbor freight to inform them about the damage. Good lord thats crazy how much your postal gets damaged.. Thats ashame, I hope they do not charge you for returning those cabinets again or atleast gave it to you for free. The cart looks great now, and definitely help both you and your wife with tranporting things. Thank you for sharing, and praying your deliveries get better. 🙏💖
I wrote a review about the issues but they didn't post it. I waited to long to assemble it and find out about the misalignment. Costco keeps picking up the damaged ones and shipping out new cabinets but the replacements all have similar shipping damage and take another10 days to arrive. It is so frustrating. Everything I order online delivered by UPS and FedEx has shipping damage. The USPS is the only service that takes care of packages they deliver up here. Thanks for watching.
hey It looks good all said and done.. great job.. saw the tractor show video , and I am in Marion, where abouts are you located... I love the work that you do, and have questions, that may advance my Bus Project...
It could have been repackaged after someone couldn't get it together. The package still had factory straps on it though. Get her one, they are very useful. Happy wife, happy life. Thanks for watching.
It could be but I don't think so because it still had the factory strapping on the main box. It should have slid together in 5 minutes but the spacing on the tubes was not right. Doesn't look bad after I finally got it assembled and covered with paint. Thanks for watching.
The driver doesn't see the package until he pulls it out of the truck. Someone else loads the truck overnight. It's hard to believe they don't note and inspect damaged packaging like that so the customer doesn't get stuck wasting so much time reporting it when the contents are damaged. UPS shouldn't be in the shipping business the way they abuse customer packages lately. It's so frustrating.
It's a problem worldwide. They aren't taught respect anymore and they somehow equate this kind of handling to some kind of revenge against the one who can afford item A or item B. I cannot in good conscience come up with a different answer to their behavior.
The rack was delivered by FedEx with no packaging damage. The file cabinets have all been damaged by UPS and I am now on the 4th replacement try. UPS sucks now and achieves the same level of damage to every cabinet they handle. Some have had what looks like forklift forks stuck through the side. The rack was poor manufacturing that caused all the misalignment. Thanks for watching.
That’s just unacceptable receiving stuff like that all trashed and bent up. I worked at UPS years ago and they do grab boxes and just throw them on their assembly line rails they don’t give a crap about what they do over there I think it’s more UPS and Fed ex workers than it is the company most of the time but it looks like you got a really damaged one from whoever made the damn thing!
I think it was a combination of manufacturing and shipping issues. UPS and FedEx have damaged a couple thousand dollars worth of shipments to me. The manager at our local UPS site is a nasty bitxx that seems to think its not UPS but how things are boxed even when something is delivered with holes from a forklift through it or left at the wrong address. Thanks for watching.
FedEx is the worst for shipping, every thing I’ve gotten delivered from them has been destroyed. If I know the item is going FedEx I write the Company’s and tell them to ship different. Or cancel order
UPS has them beat around here. They totally trashed 6 file cabinets on me. Costco kept sending out new ones and UPS kept putting forklift forks through them destroying the cabinets. They had to ship 9 for me to receive 3 good ones. Cost ups over 2k with the replacements shipping and return pickups. Lately USPS just looses packages. Thank God Amazon now has their own delivery service and all their shipments arrive on time and in perfect condition. Thanks for watching.
Nothing, these days, fits properly, works properly, functions as advertised. YET, we still pay full rpice for being Guinea pigs and the CEO's money pits. I really like that when an argument over the fact that big Corpos shouldn't be allowed to exist because they destroy the notion of a free market and competitive products/prices, everyone jumps to say "that's the price of commodity" ... what is this commodity that requires you to modify things so they work or down straight find a local shop to have things made, IF of course, one can't make their own from the start. Sigh.
You are right. I could have built a rack in the time it took to assemble and repaint that. I tried to take the 5 minute solution path but due to poor quality paid in the end. It's all about profit and not quality these days as companies expand. Thanks for watching.
Any time, your videos are very relaxing, whenever you don't stumble on stuff like this. We should thank you, this is public service, others won't step in the same mess after this.
It doesn't seem to matter anymore. This was the worst thing I've purchased from Harbor freight so far. Most of their older products had better quality. Thanks for watching.
Jaw dropping that your deliveries continue to arrive smashed up. Just shocking really. And the rack looked like it was thrown and scraped all over the place. Almost no one would have the patience - or the skill - to put it together. I've had a lot of UPS deliveries - living in 4 states coast to coast over the years - and NEVER had anything major arrive in such bad condition. At some point you would think UPS would fix the problem. We are captive victims of China's manufacturing process now. No manufacturing in the USA. Even prime farmlands and premium high rises are getting devoured by Chinese investors. I often wonder what would happen if, God forbid, another WW broke out. We are sitting ducks. No manufacturing ability anymore in our beautiful country!
UPS is terrible now. 8 of 8 packages have been damaged along with the contents. Costco has been great about shipping out replacements but it is so frustrating waiting for deliveries, pickups, and 10 days for another damaged shipment. I contacted them and they want me to waste my time documenting everything for them. I told them to contact my driver and everything is in their system. I don't see why the customer is responsible to waste time documenting their failures. I am afraid to buy from companies that use UPS now. The rack misalignment was definitely caused by poor manufacturing quality and most of the worst paint damage was before packaging. Manufacturing will not come back until better robotics are developed. The next generation does not want to work in manufacturing and has only seen low cost disposable Chinese products. Thanks for watching.
I had it sitting there for 2 months waiting for me to assemble it so it was a little late to do anything. I was very disappointed with how it went together. Thanks for watching.
It looks great on there., I went to Harbor freight last week and got the one that goes into the hitch., I'm going to get the one you have to. Nice job you did.
Be careful you don't put too much weight up there because it becomes top heavy pretty quick. Thanks for watching.
Very cool looking golf car! Nice...
My wife loves it. Thanks for watching.

@Clint Price Good for you! H.F. should send him a gift certificate for all his trouble.

You did a really nice job on that! It looks great.. very handy Thanks for sharing
Thanks. It works great for lightweight items like ladders. Thanks for watching.
Nice job. I'm saving up for an 64" L X 8" deep basket for my car, "however" I'm going to add black plastic corticated board to the bottom of the basket to keep all sun off the roof....😅
Be sure to leave plenty of room for expansion. Thanks for watching.
That sucks! I just got 1 from the store and it went together perfectly! I did have to touch up some corners with paint tho!
Glad they got them straightened out. Thanks for watching.
Looking good. Sorry, you had to go through that with your deliveries and Harbor Freight. Great review and thanks for sharing.
Thanks. UPS has become a nightmare over the last year. It's not bad looking once you get it together and repainted. I expected better from Harbor freight after all my previous purchases from them. Could have been a great value if the quality was better. Thanks for watching.
Love this use of the cart and printer!
That cart gets used daily. It is very handy. The cameo 3 has been running constantly cutting signs, t shirt transfers, and now canning jar labels. Thanks for watching.
I am thinking about getting on of these, and spraying it with bed liner rattle can if they have it...
I don't know how that stuff would work on round tubes. It's a nice rack once you get it assembled. Thanks for watching.
I'm thinking of getting one today, and probably spreading it with flex seal
I was worried you were gonna get your beard caught in the drill motor 🤣 Great video. I'm gonna pick one of these racks up too, but now I know what im in for.
That would hurt. Hopefully you get one that's easier to assemble. I got one of the first ones out. Great rack for under 60 bucks. Thanks for watching.
At that price, I suppose nobody can complain... 🤔
That's too bad it was so hard to assemble. I don't think I would have tried for that long. Frustration would have made me chuck it back into the box. You persevered and got it done, good for you. Took me 15 minutes. I like the rack and so far it has served it's purpose.
I think mine was twisted in shipping. It has been a great rack. Thanks for watching.
Is that the Haul Master roof rack ?
It's the harbor freight one. Thanks for watching.
Well done. Looked like a bit of a fight there. Shame really as you are right they should have used matching jigs and it would have just slotted together.

the frame is crooked on purpose
you're supposed to hammer the pieces together and the bend gives it a better grip to prevent separation
You must work for customer service 😲. Thanks for watching.
i own the same model under the MaxxHaul brand.
What did you use to keep it sliding around? I am thinking about welding the brackets to the roof rack
I drilled holes and used the brackets it came with. Made rubber blocks to spread out the stress. Thanks for watching.
You don't happen to still have the brackets it came with do you? My son had the rack on his Jeep and it got wrecked, we saved the basket and the spacers but two of the brackets were damaged.
I went back and cut down the u bolts and used them. Thanks for watching.
Great job thanks for sharing I love 💕 your videos

We are in Arcadia and go to the tractor pull with my grandson every year. That is a real big job you took on. Thanks for watching.
Looks like it was used and returned before you got it...?! Now my wife wants a golfcart!
It could have been repackaged after someone couldn't get it together. The package still had factory straps on it though. Get her one, they are very useful. Happy wife, happy life. Thanks for watching.
Great job 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching.
That is nice. I doubt with one on the roof of mine, it would fit in my garage. What state are you in?
Grandma Sue in central Indiana and Izzi Too
There's about 8 inches of clearance left with our doors. We are in NY. Thanks for watching.
Looks like it was a return that they sent you
It could be but I don't think so because it still had the factory strapping on the main box. It should have slid together in 5 minutes but the spacing on the tubes was not right. Doesn't look bad after I finally got it assembled and covered with paint. Thanks for watching.
He was "embarrassed". I'd believe that when videos of the way they handle our packages, our hard earned monetary exchange like bags of potatoes.
The driver doesn't see the package until he pulls it out of the truck. Someone else loads the truck overnight. Should have changed sides when assembling then a rubber mallet and grease.
It still looks great. Thanks for watching.
Hi, I would have given up ages ago and sent it back with an answer as to why it would not fit together
I am to stubborn to give up. So near yet so far. Thanks for watching.
Sometimes you take the s back and exchange it
Damn bro
I just got one put it together with ease
That's one option. Shipping stuff back is a pain. Glad they have them straightened out now. Mine was one of the first ones. Thanks for watching.
Looks good you,r mail take a beating up there.
My mail deliveries are great. It's UPS & FedEx that destroy packages. It's really bad lately. Thanks for watching.
Looks to me the blame should be with the people who delivered your products. Everything that UPS delivers seems to have extreme packing damage.
The rack was delivered by FedEx with no packaging damage. The file cabinets have all been damaged by UPS and I am now on the 4th replacement try. If it don’t fit, don’t force it, get a bigger hammer!
Or a big clamp and 2x4. Thanks for watching
👋😊
Thanks for watching.
Eventually, you will have a $20,000.00 Yard Cart....lol.....
The carrier looks very nice.
We're up to 4k in it and almost done. Just needs a radio. The smile on her face driving it is priceless. Thanks for watching.
Wow what a nightmare. I would've sent it back
It sure was a pain to line up but shipping it back for another is expensive and they weren't available in stores yet. Thanks for watching.

Farmacy Deliveries is a pot (dope) delivery service.
Not in NY.

Stay out of Harbor Freight and don't use UPS.
It's a shame that companies go downhill like this. Thanks for watching.
That rack was very poorly made. I would have sent it back and let them deal with it.
I had it sitting there for 2 months waiting for me to assemble it so it was a little late to do anything. I was very disappointed with how it went together. Thanks for watching.
