Thank You for sharing. Seeing videos on Juarez but your video was uplifting because of the spots you visited. Looked like you guys had a good time exploring.
Hey! Enjoyed your video. How did you feel generally walking around the parks, downtown? Getting Uber (if you did)? The video made it seem quiet chilled and safe? I am contemplating running in the marathon in October. The marathon itself will be fine, but it would nice to do a tour around the city too. Thanks, Bally (UK)
I'm sure the marathon will be safe. We did feel a bit sketched out at times because of a strange thing with Uber and taxis leaving us hanging in desolate neighborhoods. Our average wait time for an Uber was extremely long, like 15 minutes. I would hire a local driver/fixer next time.
@@FollowBrando thank you, I appreciate your response:) if my legs can hack it (amongst other runs), then for sure, it will be a difficult opportunity to turn down.
It was pretty chill and casual. We just kind of stuck to our plan and hung out with friends. It's not a city where I'd go wandering around at night though. The taxis and Ubers leave you stranded a lot. If I went back id hire a driver for the day to always be waiting nearby.
The cartel violence happens mostly in the outlying areas from what I know. But I was a bit sketched out in Juarez as the city is spread out and hard to get around as Ubers and Taxis are super hard to come by. I can't give this city a recommend as I would Tijuana. I passed through it on my way to Chihuahua, which was super rad. That video is coming soon.
Love your video ♡ I was raised in juarez so it's nice to see you enjoy my hometown.
I did enjoy it. A fun and easy day trip from the US for great food and nightlife.
@Follow Brando next time visit las espadas a very famous Brazilian steakhouse it's amazing.
