You are so right if you can find the bell you are lucky. Found the gold with no top and then found the silver with the thought to paint it! Thank you for how to.
you can make bells out of coke cans or even tin cans from veggies, super easy and cheap. You can also make giant bells out of 8 inch flower planters...
You have to go over porcelain items with a little bit of sandpaper before you try to paint them. That will make it easier for the paint to stick. They came out beautiful. Excellent job and I also really love the bells.
BTW the brass bells you are using are my favorite - Noah Bells from India. Because they have wooden clappers, their sound is very soft and mellow; I wish you had rung them.
Hi! I'm not exactly sure how much I saved in total...I just know everything was a lot less compared to buying everything directly from more expensive retailers (plus it was fun to do)! ☺🤍

Loved your video today especially the bells. After you use the antiqueing wax I think that's what you used did you use a sealer so wax doesn't smear?
@@cathyschweid1748 thank you so much! I didn’t actually…I just let them dry in the garage overnight and they were good the next day!☺️🤍🎄

So pretty! Are you able to link the stands for your hanging bells? I’ve been looking at ways to replicate that look without spending Etsy prices.
Thank you so much! I just added the link for the hook stands to the description box; great price at just 5 bucks a stand! Good luck with your DIY! ☺🤍🎄
How much did you save in total ? I just wonder.

You just need to put a primer on first and then the paint will stick easily.
I will do that next time! Thank you! 🤍
Would like to make the bells from scratch….
