Fitzroy River Bridge - Destination WA

The team from Destination WA recently explored the Kimberley, taking a closer look at the new Fitzroy River Bridge.
Major works undertaken as part of the Kimberley Flood Response, following ex-Tropical Cyclone Ellie in the summer of 2022-2023, saw the old bridge replaced with a stronger and longer structure.
Main Roads WA worked alongside the community, engaging local Aboriginal people and businesses, to restore road access and reconnect the region more than six months ahead of schedule.
