Most of the places are inside reflectors and bottle cages, toolboxes. Pretty sure the thieves know about those things. Ive seen ones inside the tires, can be pretty messy with tubeless setup. Or even inside the saddle foam (never seen one, but sounds like a good spot if you are willing to cut a slit in your saddle and/or unglue/reglue it again. On ebikes can be placed around/inside the motor guards, decorative plastics, or in the battery BUT NEVER in a place surrounded by metal on all sides (because signal/detection will be trash).
@@ChonkyAudio Not Because of suspicion, but many people out there take reflectorr off cause they are ugly, so if they want to steal it to keep it then it's likely they will rip it out, the one in the bottle holder is much more likely to stay in the bike in case someone takes it in my opinion.
It does but only if they're iPhone plus it takes them a considerable amount of time to find it and police know where the bike is that whole time... Not 100% effective but definitely worth doing
Yeah that's true perhaps they would get a notification eventually that an airtag is following them, but I think I would have a few hours at least to go into Liam Neeson mode and try to find the bike haha
I just used a Samsung Smartag holder for a pet collar and zip tied it under my saddle at the seat rails.
Now I know where you keep your airtags 😎
I'm up for a fun scavenger hunt... I feel pretty confident

You can see the tag thru the reflector.
Only kinda… plus I pointed it out specifically, would others think it’s an AirTag without a hint though?
Best is the muc off, hides inside the tire.
Great way to smash the AirTag
@@Coastal_Cruzer it sits inside the rim, ridden with a flat no issues.
Didnt think about inside the tire, not a bad idea!
@@ChonkyAudioonly works with tubeless wheels, inner tubes are a no go
@@lexusstefan927 that is true but a huge majority of bikes come tubeless ready, even lower priced bikes
Your rear reflector sits behind or underneath your rear wheel. Noome would be fooled by that
Yes but most thief's are usually not the brightest people on earth anyways
My friend. if I stole one bike this thing are the first to be ripped off. Are so ugly.
Makes sense since I told you specifically it was an AirTag holder, but would a random dummy thief think it’s an AirTag holder? We shall see 😉

You know how to do it well
I thought Airtags they will also send notification to those people who is nearby and there is a airtag tracking, the so call bike thief.

Only if they have an iphone, and also it takes a bit of time for the notification to pop up, idk how much tho
Take the speaker out I have on all of mine can’t make a sound
Lool 😂
