- One of the weirdest things I've come across in my many years reviewing laserdiscs, DVDs, Blu-Rays and now UHDs is this oddball introduction to the CABOBLANCO DVD. Hosted by Tony Curtis -- inexplicably dressed up as a Bond villain and having some difficulty with cue cards, a shaky camera and a terrible script -- this seemingly one-time event for the LaserLight label was part of a 1998 format release, back in the early days of DVD.
I only have the intro for this, though as memory serves (and despite his promises), Curtis never actually came back after the movie (though I might be wrong. To be fair, most viewers will have also tuned out long before we get to the end of CABOBLANCO!). - Фільми й анімація
Excellent! Tony made a movie himself with Bronson "You Can't Win 'em All" (1970) where he "almost" play it like Danny Wilde.
Excellent. I have this and the Chino intro. The Parting words are at the end of the movies. He also did three for the Cary Grant collection - His Girl Friday, The Amazing Adventure and Penny Serenade.
Always liked him. Hope he was as nice as he seemed.
Our movie pre-zan-tation .
