100% fully agree! He was completely The Sheriff of Nottingham most definitely! Watched it last night & his Sheriff gave off early Snapesque behavior I feel! #RIPAlanRickman a truly missed British thespian with a glorious smile & a brilliant & kind spirit!
He’s pure perfection. I love seeing these interviews from the early years- there’s something still innocent and shy about him, like he’s not entirely comfortable talking about himself...but his voice and his facial expressions, good LAWD it makes my whole body melt.
lol I want to see Ms Marion and the Merry Men… seems like Robin Hood is more popular here than England 🏴 My fav version is still the foxes 🦊. Yes, it’s the spirit of the hero, not the accent!
Such an awful film nothing like the books. But Alan was in Die Hard and Harry Potter which was a hit dont think he was in much else that was worth watching
His smile absolutely lit up a room.
I’m so inlove with him I love his voice, eyes, hair, lips, smile just Everything on him
"Life is about choices. You can be brave or you can be a coward" love that line
I could hear him speak forever
same
Crazy he’s so reserved here but he absolutely devours the scenery in Robin Hood. Great actor.
He should’ve been up for an Oscar for his role in Prince of Thieves. He was fantastic!
He won a BAFTA!
I watched it tonight really enjoyed it. Excellent Villan he was a great actor.
@@Bounty_Hunter84And he was fun to see 😂😂 Sheriff is so interesting.

I could stare him and listen to his voice for my whole life..

@@MsAppassionata indeed!
His hair and his eyes❤
What a beautiful man. He is sorely missed 😢
His smile ❤❤
God what an awful interview. He's so patient and unpatronizing without being fake. Special dude.
You’re seeing the unedited version of the interview which is why it seems tacky. Though I agree that she’s not good interviewing everyone.

a great actor a great performance, sooo villainous, one of the best
And by all accounts that I’ve ever heard, a nice, decent person

Alan Rickman❤❤❤❤❤
Rickman I've always enjoyed in films and his antics in Robin hood made that movie, he had the best parts.
The Best RobinHood Movie to Date & guarantee it will never be made better great cast & story
I love the legend, and I loved the movie. Nottingham was outrageous!

Rip Alan Rickman

Love you Alan😍❤
Great interview. She's a pro and he's relaxed and thinking. I miss that
Alan ❤❤❤💘💘💘💘
I love the bit where it ends and you can hear them saying "such a bizarre film" (07:32)
I LOVE that Alan had seen and enjoyed Maid Marion & her Merry Men. I bloody loved that when i was a kid.
he was amazing in that movie.
Love him smile, eyes, hair . He always looks sexy, ubersexy❤
They mentioned Closet Land. Everyone should go and watch it ⚠️
Cancel Christmas!!
awww 🏃🏼♀️💖
If no one has seen Robin & Marian you should. Robert Shaw's portrayal of the Sheriff of Nottingham was awesome
He always had that shrewd look
He was a memorable villain!
For the record, Tony Robinson played the Sheriff of Nottingham in Maid Marion and her Merry Men
Czlowiek ktory mial talent kochal to mysle ze aktorstwo mial wrodzone bo niektorzy aktorzy musza sie uczyc tak jak aktorki ciezki chleb 🌍
The wild Sheriff!
He died about 7 years ago already 😢
I can't believe he was 45 in the film
我的心被他俘获,他好温柔
No one actor has ever stolen a show like this man did in this film.
2:32 It was Tony Robinson! (Baldrick in Blackadder)
It's strange Alan didn't immediately recall this...!
Queria um desse pra mim. Haha ❤
Gosh marry me
Thinking about how younger gens thirst after the interrogator on TikTok after hearing this commentary lol
I want her blouse! 🤩
😍
What a series of stupid questions
I may have listened to 0:27 more than once...

Hans Gruber was in Robin Hood??
No, Alan Rickman was, and he was great as the sheriff.
He’s so good I think the character that wrecked the movie was Costners love interest didn’t fit the bill
1:27 and 1:28.
The interviewer is just dire!! Stupid inane questions and comments!! Alan Rickman deserved better.
