Not all properties have them. Just overhang a little bit more. So this guy said 30mm but if you had a 20mm barge board then you would overhang 50mm. Hope that makes sense
I have been roofing for Fifty plus years and still going strong. In my opinion this plastic totally cheapens the look of any roof, in two years when it has faded it looks even worse. A properly done sand and cement gable is the only way.
Yep, they look cheap and over time they work loose. Not a fan. It's just another time/money saving thing that doesn't stand the test of time. What will they look like in 20 years? Terrible...if they're still there that is

And the cement could crack and get moss growing, they all have a downside, at least this is more easily serviceable. Even possible with a ladder
