I heard that one will still need to go back to his home country and apply for Schengen visa because Kazakhstan doesn't give temporary resident permit for international students. Many Africans are stucked right there. A friend told me this and cautioned me to remove the idea of coming to Kazakhstan. After you study in Kazakhstan you'll return back to your home country. Things are becoming tough for Nigerians especially, but they're tending to generalize. Now if you want to change the visa type, you should go back to Egypt. But what do you think? Is it easier to get C3 visa from your home country, or from Kz after living in here? The hardest thing is to go back and forth to Egypt. But I guess, for somebody who is living here already, and willing to change the visa type, you'll have all required docs for that. For the problem to abtain that kind of visa from home is when you have nobody to obtain an invitation for you. It's said Nigerians abused of online visas that why the Kazakhstanis gov is sending people back home to obtain papers 😓
@@isaacoach6041 so that's what you did and you were able to move to Europe. U first change your C9 to C3. Then u got the resident permit before applying for Schengen visa.

I contacted BLS, official partner of Italian embassy concerning if it'll be possible for a student living in Kazakhstan with only C9 visa and trying to apply for Italy Student visa here in Kazakhstan? But they keep sending me to go through their link and see info. In their websites they didn't whether one with KZ C9 visa can apply for Italy Student visa from Kazakhstan or need to go back. I'm afraid to contact them on phone because I can't speak Russian and they might be speaking Russian to me. I don't know who else has contacted them
what about getting a scholarship from Kazakhstan to another country as a foreigner in Kazakhstan, can you apply for a visa or do you have to return to your home country?
You can apply directly from kazakhstan to the country you got your scholarship in. I know a friend who moved to Australia from Astana. Hope that helps. All they need is all correct documents and proofs.

You can't, since the embassy doesn't allow you... You'll be sent there by the embassy. But there are some embassies that allow...
