Great video! Your jams are exactly what I would like to achieve if I ever build a eurorack setup. The format of your videos is really well done and entertaining. Keep it up dude!
Thanks so much! Love that you’re into the videos and format! If you ever dive into eurorack, I hope it’s a really fun journey! Let me know if you ever have questions. If I know the answer or have any experience, I’m happy to share! Thanks for watching!
My pleasure! These were really great modules to explore and yeah, like I said, we’re only at the beginning in terms of music I’ll be making with them. Super stoked about them!
Thanks so much! Yeah! Double feature seemed like the best way to tackle this one as they played off each other so well and also they went into the case at the same time!
Shakmat is one of the greatest brand out there. We've discussed it you and I: they nail the playability and add additional flavour in small, user-friendly HP. Great video once again. Cool to watch from a to z.
Nice! They did so many things right with the Bard! Love that! I haven’t messed with the Mod Medusa as of yet but can only imagine it to be wonderful! What is something about it that you find you use a lot? Feel like I’m going to have to take another look at that manual!
@@bluenautilus I love that! Definitely something I’ve come to appreciate in patches, just setting things up for playability. I seem to like twisting knobs to positions more than timing button presses.
@@turbotambourineSecond this comment, I've really enjoyed Mod Medusa, it has way more capability than I've been able to realize, but it is musically cool to have the ability to form modulations/lfos that can vary in shape or other parameters but are rooted in a clock so even as they move they maintain that anchor with the form of the music
@@aquarelasof love that! It’s more powerful than you first think and I think this approach is a really wonderful one. It feels like you’re still able to embrace that variability of modular while maintaining intension. Thanks for letting me know about this! I’ll need to be on the hunt for one. I have a couple things on the list. Haha a couple…
Thanks so much! So happy you enjoyed it! I tried to cover everything! More exploration in fm and pm will bring about more useful results and there more modes in use for Triple Steeple in the upcoming jams video. It may have a brief overview of each patch but I’ll try to keep in pretty simple so I can jump into work on my next video! Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for the detailed answer. I am very excited about the next videos with this quality, I will be very happy to watch them here and give them a thumbs up. I'm particularly interested in the Shakmat Triple Steeple, as many people always talk about the Quadrax, but I think the Shakmat Triple Steeple is the cooler of the two ;-)
@@mit136speichenumdiewelt well, you can look forward to many videos with the Triple Steeple patched up as that’ll be my envelope module going forward. There’s some excellent additional patch ideas in the manual too! Brilliant how it works!
Really cool jams in this one. These modules look like a lot of fun. Shakmat continues to be one of my favorite eurorack builders out there. I really like everything that they are doing. I need you to school me on how to use bard quartet in a more robust way. I only ever scratch the surface when I use it.
Thanks so much! I agree! Their modules make big difference when it comes to making music. I’ll continue to keep my eyes open for releases from them. I’m gonna need a b-case though at this rate. I’d be stoked to set something up and get into Bard a bit more deep!
Love the video and the Jams! Ive still got my eye on a crazy chicken six eyes from your last video and the Bard as well! Just need some a bit more work to come my way first 😅
Thanks so much! Yes the list can get rather long eh? Both of those are great modules! Good luck with the work! It took me a while to save for the Bard and even then, it was some funds as a birthday gift that made it happen. One of my faves for sure!
Thank you so much! So glad you like em! I’m finding this size really fun and capable. So good to hear of so many others that are Shakmat fans! Dual Dagger looks sweet! So smart how the patching works on that. I remember watching a video on it and was so impressed at the depth! Anything coming out soon from them you’re looking forward to? They just keep creating!
@@turbotambourine yeah I really like Dual Dagger, such a smooth stereo filter with clever inputs, it has the same knobs that Triple Steeple so it´s very playable. definitely a keeper. I´m looking forward to Ballista Blast, because seems to be really versatile, can´t wait to get one.
@@pablobarria296 yeah! The knobs on the Shakmat stuff are some of my fave. Very smooth and sturdy. Ballista Blast looks awesome! Can’t wait to see a full run down of it on their channel as it nears release. From the demo’s I heard, it seems to have a ton of range.
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed the walkthroughs! I think those are the hardest parts of these videos to do. I always want to make sure they are as smooth and clear as it can be. Wish I had had a lowpass gate in the case for the first demo though as the unfiltered saw for that long probably got a bit grating on the ears. Thanks for the sub.
Thanks so much! It’s really cool! Didn’t think I’d be so stoked on the extra modes on it. Just having the 3 envelopes is great! What’s your fave thing about it?
