Shame that they had to nerf him big time in Fate, cause the one Rule that Nasu would never cross is that you cannot be stronger then Gilgamesh as an archer or if your a Grand. Perfectly understandable cause both he and Karna can more or less one shot anything that Nasu can throw at them.

Archer Arjuna lore wise is badass, ingame he's pretty avg with his mis match deck, 1 turn mana Burst and 25% battery with Merlin's alt basically as a buff. Animations clean though. Solid A tier Archer imo.

I like Karna just as much as Arjuna, but Arjuna got a bad hand here. They skimmed through the highlights of Mahabharata and decided that Karna was this saint. But the truth is that nearly everyone in the battlefield was a killer who violated the rules of chivalry by the end of it, and not even the avatar of Vishnu was spared from that image.

I heard he also has access to Shiva's (or Agni"s) bow, is a candidate for Grand Archer, and could possibly have an Anti-Universe Nobel Phantasm. Not sure on the canon of these claims but I wouldn't be surprised if they where all true.
He have acess to both, Agni one is the one he uses in fgo, Agni Gandiva, he can also use one of Shiva supreme weapons thar is a bow given by shiva himself but can't use agaisnt humans so he never used it in the myths, it can destroy the universe and release a imense rain of all kinds of weapons as strong as meteors each, Pashupatastra(yes it his np but fate nerfed it), he also had Brahmastra and a lot of other astras(hindu weapons), most of them Rama also had and Rama was stronger than arjuna in myths, the Grand Archer part is hard, he surely is as strong or above super orion, and is worth the title, but we don't know if he reaches the requesite in fate version
Never heard of him being a candidate for Grand Archer. Super Orion is uncontested. I'll be using Gil from here on out as a benchmark cos he's pretty much the deadliest Servant in the franchise if he isn't dicking around. in Fate, Pashupata has also been nerfed pretty hard from its lore version so he's below Gil in sheer destructive power. As an Archer tho, his fire rate is pretty much unmatched and only Gil's barrage should be able to keep up with him among Archers. And he tends to sneak up on servants in Extella, not sure if it's canon, cos I dont think he has presence concealment listed in FGO or the wiki. But he has the highest rank of Independent Action on par with Gil, meaning he doesn't even need to obey his Master one bit should he choose to do so. He also has a lower ranked Clairvoyance which is basically like a better Intuition, letting him predict movements and lock onto his targets with unfailing accuracy. He also has a gimmick passive, Hero of the Endowed, which conveniently gets him what he wants for a situation, exactly when he needs it. He also doesn't seem to have the close range disadvantage as most Archers, sorta like Gil. Cos he can coat his bow in Agni's fire and use that as a melee weapon when needed.
His only weaknesses as a Servant are his nerfed NP and his mana consumption. Karna was a mana guzzler in Apocrypha and Arjuna is similar to him with flashy overpowering moves and a divine weapon.

I think the problem with Arjuna rn at least to me,.. is that Arjuna as a character was heavily SHAFTED by Karna at ANY EVENT they were in despite them wanting to FIX Arjuna's character.
Even in LB4 they would say how Arjuna is strong and how Arjuna Alter is a troubled man that was a cause of him triple down of denying his humanity... but HE WAS STILL BURIED BY SUPER KARNA with the help of Jinako and Ashwatthama. And even then we don't even know OUR Archerjuna's say about Lostbelt 4. We don't know if Arjuna and Arjuna Alter even MET enough to complete Arjuna's personal arc.
Like We can't sleep on Arjuna as a character, but Lasagna SURE fucking wants to put HIM to sleep.
i think it's a lack of creativity on their part. Arjuna, even after LB4 can be summarised in one word. "KARNAAAAAAA". Even his Valentine's CE i got this year is the arrow that killed Karna. Arjuna is just made to look like a weird rival/yandere mix at this point. The point of his existence is to serve as a foil for Karna. Also I suppose a brown skinned Servant doesnt fly with the oriental audience so they kept him as is.
@@juicecan6450 And it sucks because he CAN be interesting as his own person without the Karna shadow. Aeaea (shoehorned as it felt), Da Vinci's event, the one with all the Archers... he does have at least a PERSONALITY that was waiting to be utilized... ESPECIALLY Now with the very existence of an Arjuna that doubled down denying his humanity and became a GOD.
And it didn't help that Karna's side of the war and his thoughts on Arjuna isn't even fleshed out either UNLESS we are cultured enough to read CCC/Extra mats.
And we fans of Arjuna just want Arjuna to stand on his own two feet as a character. Karna tried to amp up Arjuna sure, but instead it felt like Karna upstaging Arjuna AND Arjuna Alter just for fucking existing.

honestly rather than the other 4 brothers, I would be more excited to see Duryodhan ( the villain of Mahabharat ), his personality adaptation would be fun to see so would his Noble Phantasms, he is legit the Achilles of India, come on gib us Duryodhan fgo.
5 brothers, Karna didn't acknowledge them as his brothers at all till end of his life even then he paid his debt towards his birth giver.
I always put respect on this man’s name. Homie will snipe you from the other side of the planet, in possibly base. Then he turns into a god, and he’s a whole menace. Karna had to do the same thing to be evenly matched, and he’s one of the strongest Lancers in the series

the Indian lost belt was pretty self contained especially being the furthest from the rest of the Lostbelts outside Daybit’s in South America.
@@blackmage665 in FGO they considered LB4 to be this weird, but self contained phenomenon that seemed to pose much less of a threat than other belts, so it was supposed to be low priority. The "universe" in LB4 was pretty much just the South Asian subcontinent, so Alterjuna didn't kill anyone outside of his mythology.

Correct if I'm wrong but isn't thier real-life counterparts a lot stronger then thier servent forms. In Seigfred's case, I think his np wouldve been a lot stronger if it was related to Fafnir's mana or something, idk.

Enkidu is situation based. we see gilgamesh capturing herakles with ease with enkidu. But when Kingu was fighting Quatz i wondered why he couldnt easily capture her. Ever since i have come to the conclusion that normal version of the chains cant hold powerful divine spirits and only thr one invoked with incantations or powered up by whole of kingu/enkidu's spirit origin can affect divine beings. Thatsss just me ofc

He carried me through battles as the best archer I had for quite a long time. Honestly his skills are top tier, the only thing holding him back is his deck. Even then though I do appreciate having an arts focused deck to loop better with supports. I think the only way he could improve is if his mana burst functioned like Altria’s
He would be an unkillable menace if his Hero of the Endowed didn't have one of the worst cooldowns in the game. Plus he doesnt even need a 50% battery like Altria, when his arts cards crit he's getting that NP up anyway. Just reduce that cooldown to 6 and add a minor atk up on his Clairvoyance maybe and he's already in the top tier.

People hate him because he beat Karna (and he got Jeanne 😏) but they forgot that seig didn’t beat him alone. Astolfo with achilles’s shield play a role too. And these people also underestimate siegfried. Or at least maybe “don’t sleep on Seigfried”

That's exactly why he should be hated, sieg didn't beat karna on his own, he got berserker's help through her skill, he got Achilles' help through Astolfo and we all know Achilles' shield is the only counter to VS. If Karna kept his Kavacha Kundala and fought he wouldv'e won even if all the servants of apocrypha panned together to fight him. It's only because of his honor that he lost, sieg is lucky Karna doesn't have a bad personality.
