Thank you for this great video. I own DW5600C-1V from late 80s, and of course the bezel crumbled to pieces. I also managed to lose 2 screws that held it in place. Luckily Casio USA introduced refurbish program for vintage G-Shocks. I sent my watch to Casio US HQ in Dover, NJ and they returned completely refurbished watch with new battery, bezel, gaskets and screws in the box with Kikuo Ibe-san autograph wishing more adventures with my g-shock. Can’t be more happy!
Great watch! I have a 5600 like that with the same 901 module, and still works fine. I only had to get a bezel from Ebay (I found one in Portugal), and now looks like new. Love GShocks and specially squared ones.
Just did the same, but got strap as well. Almost cracked through and replaced bezel 3 times. Had a very hard life, but still going strong 💪. Awesome watch!

By the way, the "Y" of “JAPAN Y” is said to be "Y" which means that it was manufactured by YAMAGATA CASIO CO., LTD.(a wholly owned subsidiary of CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD.)! When we contacted CASIO, the answer was, "Because of the internal management information, we cannot tell you the meaning of all the alphabets."
@@gshock.casio. Thank you. It is of great interest that you actually contacted Casio to ask the question. The Watchuseek forum are basically guessing as to alphabet meaning on caseback types. I had suspected that the lack of information was due to Casio corporate secrets. In English we call that being "tight lipped" ! Thanks again.

I don't know of any stores currently selling them. When the channel reaches 10,000 subscribers, I will negotiate with CASIO to manufacture the BEZEL(SQUARE G-SHOCK OF THE 1980s) 😀
Where can I get the bezel for this watch? I found nothing on eBay. I just bought the vintage DW-5600C, the exact watch in this vid, out of auction on eBay.
@@gshock.casio. That would be great. I've owned a 'DW-5600' (no suffix on the back, presumably a 5600C-1V) with module 691 since new, even wearing it for a few years after the bezel fell apart. It would be great if I could buy an authentic replacement bezel.
@@1djbecker You have a G-SHOCK "DW-5600" with module 691! 😀 That's great ! ! By the way, how is the battery replaced? モジュール691を備えたG-SHOCK「DW-5600」をお持ちなんですね!!😀素晴らしいですね。ちなみに、電池交換はどのようにされていますか?
@@gshock.casio. It has a screw back with CR2320 battery. The back was on firmly and barely opened with an inexpensive adjustable 3 prong watch case back wrench. A watch back socket would be a better choice, but those are expensive.
