Short and sweet, thanks. I appreciate these short videos, I don't have the time to watch hours long tutorials.
good!
You can use Vox Hide or Cut Off to perform identical boolean operations with less steps. By using the 'E' panel, you can select the shape to cut with.
I found your channel yesterday, and this is very very very very helpful !
Thanks !
Hey, thx a lot, great you like it.
You are telling people what you are doing, but not how...the thing is what you are doing we can see in the video...
What I am saying is, and this is not meant with any ill intent, but please also include some kind of information on what buttons your are pressing etc..it would teach us soo much more.. :)
Do you still want to make this? If so i can guide you through it
Awesome tutorial sir - any plans on 3DC 2021 tuts?
At least I was able to follow along and make this. Software is a bit different than Hexagon or Carrara but not too bad once you get your feet wet.
HA! Hexagon! I started with that (so long ago it wasn't even free) - remember UV mapping in Hexagon?
Great work, a little bit fast, but isn't what we all aspire to? Thanks!
hi when i use the pose tool to make the indentations, it only does the front side and not all the way around??
Thanks
Press the e key and check if the Ignore backfaces property is set, if so, uncheck it.
hi, yes i figured it out. Thanks
It's incredibly sad to me how this Program doesn't get even a 5th of the Love it Deserves! i hope with Zbrush Selling out to Maxon, that 3DCoat comes in and takes a LOT of the Users and becomes far more widely used and popular!
how do you open these menus? It would be nice to say what you are pressing.
it's possible 3d-coat to do live boolean ?
like in blender "boolean" modifiers ?
*sorry for my bad english, i hope at least you know what i mean
very nice thanks :)
How to bevel in 3dcoat?
Is it hard to learn 3d coat, to work in it if you have prior knowlege about 3d modeling in Blender?
Well, a basic understanding of 3d modeling is always a plus, but 3d-coat is more a sculpter, not really a per-poly modeling tool. I like to use it especially for hardsurface modeling because it has great support for this and the retopology is the best I know. For sculpting I use Blender and ZBrush, for poly-modeling just Blender.
Panels panels panels and dropdown menu - UX design is so terrible just like in 3dsmax, but possibilities is interesting yeah
The developers of the 3d tools are no UX Designers, that's the problem, but as you got used to it it's ok
The tutorial is good, but you open windows with hotkeys without explain anything.
ur channel is ALL OVER the place
as in chaotic and too broad - you barely make any tie-ins and rarely complete a series regarding flows
Thx for your opinion, would you mind giving me examples of series which are not finished?
