Hey Rob - I don't know how you're still getting all these finds. I've gone 10 straight boxes without any Buffalos, 6 straight without any silvers, 13 straight without any key dates, etc. I've tried different banks and branches even. At this point I've given up trying because it seems like there's nothing left out there to find.
I hear you! My dimes are DEAD and I see others pulling silver out like nada. It happens. We just gotta keep at it AND have fun doing it. It will come back around (I hope).
I'm telling you, it all depends on the area you're in and luck of the draw. Might be a number of things, the banks in your area are just unwilling, there are a lot of coin searchers in the area, coin doesn't circulate as much. When there's a lot of searchers in the area, even getting machine wrapped coins isn't a guarantee of hunting unsearched rolls. Because hunters are going through so much, the coin companies like Loomis and Brinks often are going to go ship out searched coin again. It's also a pleasure to see you comment, Summoning Salt, love your videos!
Yet another fun hunt Rob! I just hunted a box of nickels and found a 1950 in the first roll! But it was a Philadelphia, not a Denver. But still awesome, because it was a book filler! And also an AU 1939 Philadelphia with nearly full steps! Can't get mad at that!

I had my 2nd best ever Canadian nickel box the other day. 1940 was the oldest but numerous in the '60's including a mint state 1963. Any thoughts on creating Canadian desk mats in 2025? Good luck for 2025 and here's hoping your health issues are in the past.

That's weird. I looked at 15 rolls and found a 1939-d and a 1938-d.

Nice hunt Rob! My last 2 boxes netted me one 43P silver, two 2009s, & one 2024P and another 48S, I just keep finding these semi-keys like crazy, lol.
