Main reason sub 19 is possible now is because of the new trampoline skip, where you bounce off the tree, and if done perfectly can send you straight to the elevator. There was also a method found to boost twice on the champagne bottle, allowing us to launch straight to the rainbow bridge before dragon. The "champagne" strat can be done on 120 fps, however for fairness amongst those with weaker pcs, the leaderboard rule is that you can only do it on 30 fps. Sub 19 is closing in will hopefully get it tomorrow!

I would even say that excelling in 1 really competitive and optimized game is more impressive than constantly switching games and claiming records in an unoptimized environment. Still what dist does is really impressive nonetheless.

One uses the mechanics to break the game and the other one just straight up bugs or glitches what shouldn't be possible at all. That is why runs are divided by Any% No Major Glitches and Any%. So both are valid runs but they belong to different categories.

That counter is a bit misleading cause the way the auto splitter works it counts all his practice sections as well every time he restarts the game I believe.

I'm so happy that I've beaten the game a couple minutes ago. It's one of the greatest gaming experiences I had in a long time. No joke but this game made me feel something, which isn't something that I expected.

This game has some really interesting and it seems like underappreciated visuals. There are all sorts of metaphors and references hidden, there is so much detail in every scene. I haven't played this, but I imagine I would spend a lot of time just taking in the scenery, it's like a fever dream.
This is the restricted run. The 33 seconds run is the unrestricted run. The restricted one is more widely seen as the "proper" speedrun as it just takes more skill. Same premise as a "no major glitches" run
The "Whatever, I'm gonna keep going." despite some mistakes within the first 2 min, yet still getting the WR, is not just the point of the game, but of life itself. You have to regulate your emotions. God tries to teach us the same lesson, but with greater stakes. I pray all of you learn this lesson with humility, and the world can at least go back to like 1997 levels of chill.
Distortion has gotten so incomprehensibly cracked at speed-running to a point where he’s just casually looking at chat while simultaneously breaking his own wr, this man is straight up built different!
