Being a Golden Retriever Owner I can tell that it's not as easy as it seems to raise a Goldie. Even though they are one of the most intelligent and gentle dogs, there are quite a few challenges that every new parent goes through. I do too. Have had Little Bear since Dec of 2016, when my Brother passed away. Bear was only 1 1/2 yrs. He is 7 1/2 yrs now. Have Always had Labs since Dec of 1986. Even raised Hunting Stock and Field Trial Blood Line Puppies for several years. But as of late, since ealy 1992, and had several over the years , Chocolates, Yellows and Blacks. Lost Lucy , my last Chocolate Female lab July 4th, 2016. Six months after loosing Mama Dec 26, 2016. She was 13 1/2 yrs. Lost My Elvis Dec 28th, 2018. He was a full Brother to My Heart, Freda Jane , who I lost we lost Oct 1st, 2021. Can't believe it's been a few months over a year. Took her to the Vet for what I thought was a UTI , she had an Abdominal mass that had ruptured while they were twisting her , doing X-rays and Ultrasound.. It ruptured and she was bleeding internally. That was in Oct of 2021. They didn't and I knew, she wouldn't survive the surgery. Freda Jane and Elvis were Litter Mates. Their Mama was a Golden and their Daddy was a Black Lab. Anyway,
Last Thursday Feb 2nd, I aquired a New Beautiful Golden Retriever Puppy, her unofficial AKC Name Yet, is "Cameron Rose "
AKA Rose. She is between 14 to 15 weeks and every bit of a True Golden Retriever Puppy, Full of Spit and Vinegar, but with a Full Fledged Heart of Gold...She is a True Couch Potato with Her Mama aka Me!🙆♀️❤ That's when She's Taking Her Naps , between Rifts and Shifts Playtime , either with Me or Bear.
I can tell he is Bonding with Her, but He is like an old Man, and Prefers to be Outside, ecxcept during mealtime or his Favorite Snack A DENTA BONE, Which he Dearly Loves, and His Busy Bones he gets on Saturday Nights after finishing All of His Supper. Of course, Rose is Definitely a Puppy and Grabs and Goes. She is doing her after lunch and or Dinner Nap here in the South..🥰
Rose is a Little Sister for Bear. He is a Big Brother, but Prefers His Alone time ?, like an Ol' Man...😤🤣💗

I used to have both at the same time unfortunately my husky died at 3 yo of an unknown illness. I miss him so decided to get more goldens

Goldens are friendly! I love goldens.. goldens interact with humans. They are quick to pick up commands.. intelligent dog

Goldens have an endearing looks, more intelligent and responsive. Goldens interacts quickly to humans.
Husky have a an aggressive look.. im scared of the wolf-like eyes of husky although beatiful colored eyes and have a beautiful fur. Some says Huskies are like cats, it just stares at you like computer loading.. or just ignores a command

I am gonna get golden lol thats confirmed.Me and my dad was talking about this siberian husky,his friend has a husky and is going to have a puppy.He was selling for about 237.95$ sometimes even 713.86$.I asked him you want a husky,then he said "I still want the golden".Thats all so Golden it is.

I have husky dog but the only problem with it is its fur they shed a lot and I mean it, totally bad to keep inside the house, so don't do this mistake, I got a baby retriever for free, and when I knew they shed too I refused to take it, to make the story short, you will suffer a lot, even you can't wear your clothes ❗ and imagin if you have two with same shedding ... 🌷👍🏻
You missed Goldie.😢. they are the most loving, friendly and intelligent. They don't shed a lot like husky.

Any dog that cannot be trusted off leash (Husky) and will run away at first opportunity and are stubborn and will intentionally ignore commands cannot be considered loyal dogs. They may be loving, but they cannot be considered loyal and devoted.
My husky runs away because he's still a puppy and wants exercise. But he comes immediately after being called. I have both and getting a golden is selfless they love everyone and will play with new people over you. Getting a husky is selfish, they only listen to their owners and only want to play and be with their owners, if you are the owner it's fun but not so much if you don't own one.
