I am scientist from the Philippines, and the deeper I study science, the more I discover the wissom of God.
The only question is : which god?
Obviously the bible is a man-made book with man-made wisdom and man-made errors.
The dangerous part is that those man-made errors are declared divine and by that reality shall adjust to those errors and not vice versa.
Thats harmful as those errors touch topics liek astronomy, biology , evolution and homosexuality.

@@DivineMercy_Official thanks for the support. I have been learning lot as I've changed parishes, although situation gets worse each time. Important to focus our love and thoughts on the Lord. Seek first the kingdom of God and all else will resolve - in heaven if not in this life. I have a Spiritual Director now and I'm going to be careful not to become too attached to people and places, but to focus on God.
I believe God designed evolution and that’s just one more reason he is truly incredible and incomprehensible for us humans. Praise HIS GENIUS!

When I was a student at Boston College, I learned about different stories about Creation by different "gods" over the ages. It was SO fascinating. I've had no problem with believing in Creation by God, as being true Creation. I've also been taught at Boston College that evolution could have happened, but ONLY within each single creature, not from one specie into another. Thanks,Fr. Chris for teaching this for all listeners throughout the world hear the Truth - if they WANT to know the Truth.

Wow! This talk is like a very healthy soup for my soul! These are some answers I was looking for and I’m not writing this because I doubt my Catholic faith but because this strengthens it. Father Chris, your hands are like Jesus, who labored with love. Thank you for assembling this marvelous talk. It just suddenly dawned unto me, when Saint Thomas Aquinas had a mystical vision on December 1273, he said “After what I have experienced, all that is just as straw” while pointing to his books, is a humble statement from him that creation and God in itself is more than just our own understanding. St. Thomas probably was floored by the understanding God has endowed him at that moment. Excuse my English, i’m not native speaker and I hope what I said is understandable, but I can’t help writing, this talk made me so full spiritually. God bless you Father Chris! 🕊️

Father my comment isn’t about this video but rather an overall thank you. I left the faith, was an atheist and I have been back practicing fully this last year. Yesterday after mass I was excited to go talk to the priest to find out about bible study or if there were any classes to learn about my faith. I got a response of a big fat no and that I shouldn’t take my faith seriously .. I don’t have any spiritual friends, I also live in a small village in Ireland so it’s harder to just hop to another mass. His comment drained me, it did not make me doubt anything but it really broke my heart that as a young person who is truly seeking God and wants to learn so that I could go out make disciples would pretty much have a door shut in my face. I really hope that someday I can meet you, you are a joy and light to the world. I tell everyone about you, including my Muslim friends and praise be to God they come to Jesus and you’re the man for the job 😅😊 thank you for been my spiritual rock 🎉

Ever since i was introduced to the topic of human evolution in high school, I've always had the personal belief that the missing link they are talking about is Adam and Eve. Back then, I've always wondered why their existence was never acknowledged in science subjects. I guess now i know why. Thank you, Fr. Alar, for yet another very informative and excellent lecture!
