I remember watching you when I was young like 10-11 now I got a cdl and working myself but I enjoy it it’s fun and sometimes annoying
Speaking as a native Texan, be happy you traveled thru the big cities of Ft Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas late at night. While you missed some sites, you saved at least two hours of driving and a days worth of frustration. I35 thru Austin and San Antonio is voted to be one of the worst roads in America. So be thankful for your nite drives!
I like seeing 5th wl sliding I use used engine oil help sliding and reduce rust trailer was a bit high
Welcome Home 🏡..Nice to see you Safe..The Peanut 🥜 Gallery
Hi Trucker Josh great video glad you had a chance to get a walk in before you get to your Delivery nice scenery on your walk of the park and pond the scenery to your delivery looked great glad you had a good night rest and stay safe till the next day God bless🙏😊
Use Dawn dish wash soap on my fifth wheel pins, breaks up the grease a bit then they slide like butter.
Six days on the road and ima gonna make it home tonight!!!
I could hear the turbo. Hammer dowm😂🎉
Hay Josh
Shout out from western North Dakota, going to be -25° F this weekend, glad you had a safe trip.
When you repaint your paint remove all fifth wheel parts, the plate aswell cause it will rust out immediately
18 wheels and a dozen 🌹 A few more miles on his 4 day run...
Just remember back in the day when you had to drop a dime or quarter to get word back home.
Hey Josh! I bet it was nice to get home and see Brit , Theo and the fur babies!
Spot on as always josh 👍
7million miles on the truck 1961 Pete 351 the legend Bob Spooner, recently retired and sold his truck
I've really enjoyed traveling with you to Texas and back, a nice change from the short trips you've done lately.
Can’t believe you left truck this morning at the entrance and not exit
Glad you made it home safely enjoy home time
Don't forget about the bunk heater.
1:32 just under 500 miles hey
"I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door"
Trucker Josh although retired now I have another reason as to why you should never grease the locking pins on a fifth wheel. When i first started driving highway trucks I thought I would do as what was said and help me get the pins to lock easier. after greasing the pins a couple months went by and I needed to monkey around the fifth wheel to balance some weight. There was so much road grime in the pins stuck in amongst the grease I had problems getting the pins out and back in. What usually takes a few minutes took over an hour to accomplish. just not a good Idea.
Oh wow! I never thought of that! ....I just greased it... lol
Also, there is that graphite spray lube (used for lock sets ) which is dry and can't build up dirt.
You should be seeing an ad revunue jump since youtube finally sent out the ad police and shut em all down.
Missed the big storm
Well at least the top of the hood still looks clean. That didn't last long 🥴☹
Welcome home, to bad you fell sick.
Stay safe
Bob Spooners 1961 Peterbilt which he's owned since 1960 has 6.5 million miles on it.
Whew... glad you made it home safe and sound. Always a good feeling being home with your family.
It’s good to return home safely particularly with winter’s icy grip on much of Canada, even the City of Toronto. That city that I call home may see snow stick to the ground for the next few days at least although even before that storm on Friday Central Time, I’d gotten used to temperatures that pretty much around the clock had been under 10°C. Each season has its pros and cons, with winter no exception.
No longer unseasonably warm now. The windchill here in Winnipeg is currently -30 and windchill tomorrow night -42c aka -42F
🥶
Yep, about the same down here in Fargo, maybe a few degrees warmer. Winter is here.
we love watching your vlogs youre the best trucker out there good family man ,not always fussing about your job ,i just retired from old dominion a fork lift driver respect what you do ,love seeing your dogs we lost our german sheperd in may had him 14 years you and your wife act and look so happy and that boy is a cuttie ,keep up the good work ,talbott tn here
Glad you enjoyed your trip to Texas and made it back home safe 🎉
Josh you passed up your fuel stop that tanker flying j
Some much for me going to Canada, I'm at 305" wheel base
Glad to see you make it home in time to try and get a good night's sleep at home. Enjoyed the Texas trip. I hope you have many more long range trips. Nice to see a palm tree or two this time of year.
3 million is the most that I have heard
Please don’t block the left lane. Did you fix the bunk heater.
POR-15 Rust Preventive coating for the frame .
I think the legendary Bob Spooner put over 6 million miles on his needle nose peterbilt before he retired which was fairly recent!!
That's amazing
Hello from Serbia
Cold start plz
The Netherlands: €1,89 / $ 2,07 USD per liter diesel. So stop complaining about fuel prices on your side of the ocean. My Scania averages 3,6km on 1 liter diesel. Countries: Scandinavians, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Balkans. Sometimes Greece, Hungary, Romania
I'll keep complaining and you should be complaining twice as much lol
Canada is one of the world's top oil producing countries, our gas should be really cheap 😂😂
Go to canadian tire and get several cans of Corrosion Free formula 3000 and spray the frame with it, its good long lasting stuff.
Thank you I'll go look for it next time I'm there
they going to fix your bunk heater, from palm trees to snow . just like that
Another great job Josh. 😊 Did you ever get your bunk heater fixed? With extreme cold weather in your area I thought of you. Later and Thanks.
So far my method of running it with some kerosene seems to have helped but it still needs a little convincing to get going
Good ya back in cool weather Josh I think you could have saved some time and did a refuel from the Flying J tanker u passed just like the airforce does maybe u need ur hand warmers if the temps r dropping too -20 now
Love your videos when are you going to take your family on your trip
Check with your nurse or doctor regarding what happened to cheveys eyes because children can easily pick up that disease, and if not pick up immediately can cause blindness.
Hey josh just found your channel so I’m watching your videos from episode one we’re coming back to Alberta in February for two and a half weeks we really enjoy visiting Canada
Hey Josh. I’m currently in truck training and was wondering if you have a vid of your pre-trip routine.
You have the patience of a Saint.. I'd be thrown punches if the fuel island was blocked lol.
Trucker Josh, The Original, The best trucking UA-cam channel period... Another great one Josh. I live near Dallas. You blew through my neighborhood in this series. I waved, but you didn't see me. Hehe.
Thank you!! 👋
Glad you made it home to tour family safe awesome trip 💪
I set Blue on x2 at 6:45. Man can it move when it wants to ;-)
Don't you love when people who have no idea how to do your job, tell you how to do your job?
There is an old saying about that “don’t tell your grandmother how to suck eggs”.
And I bet they don't even know how to do their own job as well😂
Liberals.
I've seen a truck with 6,7 million kilometres. M.A.N. Diesel. And a Mercedes SK with about the same.
Thank goodness you have gotten home. Wisconsin just got socked with a huge snowstorm/blizzard. So glad your route didn't bring you this way this time.
Happy New year to you and your family. I'm so far behind on your videos I'll need a week of vacation to catch up on them, Sorry about that. Good to see all is well!
So glad you got home safe!❤
You run as fast as safely possible put blue's face mask on so it doesn't get a cold coffee and fuel only
Welcome home to Canada..Did you buy by something? lol :D
🍭SWEET🍭Home again, Home again, Jiggity-Jig!!!🙏🏼💖👍🏻🌞
Wash 5h3 truck lots especially the frame.. don't want a trucker rudie situation. Straight pipe it. Auxiliary lights front n rear..rebuild Trans n rear ends you should be good till you retire
What's a trucker rudi situation?
@Trucker_Josh his frame rusted out and he had to get rid of his truck . Do they do undercoating on rigs?
Great video! I am new to your channel so I have to ask, why do you travel at 62mph usually?
I would of probably washed the truck before parking it though. Can’t be having that salt and grime sitting on it for more that 24hours!
Hey I am 33 and thinking of getting into trucking. What are your thoughts ?
Josh, when you measured the length of your truck or at least determined how much room you had to play with for your stretch, where was your fifth wheel placement?
Does the placement of your fifth wheel make a difference in the total length of your unit?
It was centered. Yes that would effect my overall length moving it forward or back
Hey Josh, subscriber from Australia here, I've just started doing linehaul work at night time, doing about 900klm in each trip. How do you handle the fatigue while night driving?
I'm struggling a little bit.
what is your truck now Josh 244 inch wheel base?
Yes
❤
No Dog Vlog!
I know nothing about trucks and driving professionally but I do enjoy this channel. What would an extra 2 feet do to your frame? More cabin space?
I'm not a trucker either but I seen on one of the trucking vlogs where they mentioned stretching the frame give you a smoother ride and levels the weight of the load better.
Smoother ride yes, better looking, and gives me room on my frame for an APU which keeps the truck warm or cool without running the engine. It mounts to the frame
@@Trucker_Josh Thx Josh , I'm learning more everyday 😉
Hope you're enjoying your home time with family. Keep us posted on when Theo walks. That will be priceless.
He's standing already!
Josh what type of entertainment do you have while driving? Sirius XM?
Podcasts
5.13 million US Miles
Hey Josh why do you never video going across the border and show what you have to pass over?
We're not allowed to film on custom and border protection land.
would it be worth it to put a third drive axle on it ?
No that wouldn't be worth it for me
👏🖐️👍🥰
