@@sunchips5 if you went to a restaurant and were sat at a dirty table it would be an easy fix to clean and wipe it down yourself. However you would most likely make a point to tell someone rather than just putting it into the “this is no big deal list”. If they aren’t aware of the problem it won’t get fixed. A lot of manufacturers and reps rely on our feedback in the field.
And 2 years later, they still come from the factory that way. AND the flow valve is set too high so that lid does not sit on top of the tank as it should. It sits on the top of the valve. Poor QA.
Mine came the same way with very loose handle. Did the adjustment but it was just another pain in the ass as far as installing. Agree with u should be set at factory.
I had to replace the lever for the simple reason it does not cover the hole in the tank. I noticed your Cimarron is the same. For what they cost it should hand you the paper ...🤔
Thanks for posting this video. I'm looking at buying the Cimarron 1-piece toilet. I assume it works the same as the 2-piece. Carious if you have a perspective or opinion on the two? Also, Costco has buy 2 @ $499.99 and get $100 off. You mentioned the version you installed was expensive, any thoughts on the Costco price?
I personally love one piece toilets. I think they look a little slicker and are better for cleaning. The one piece Cimarron at Costco is the original style but instead of 1.6 gpf it’s 1.28 gpf. I own a one piece Cimarron in a 1.6 and it performs really well. The toilet you’re looking at appears to also be a class VI toilet which should perform very well. I think the Costco price you are looking at is good. Note that when I mentioned the toilet in the video was “expensive” I was comparing it to the average toilet homeowners buy usually big the $200 range. I expect a good toilet to be in the $500 range which is about what we paid for the toilet in the video. The toilet you’re looking at will have a different flush pattern than the one in the video but like I said I think it’s a great toilet. 👍
Check out my other video where I go more into detail about my thoughts on how this toilet works that I made right after installing it. You will see it flush. 👍
That’s actually an easy fix! Just unhook that clip and lower it to the preferred link and re connect it!
That’s exactly what I did. The point is why didn’t it come from the factory like that? It’s like buying a new car with a loose door handle. 🤷♂️
@@rosskapron3634Nothing's perfect. If it's an easy fix, then I would put this into the "this is no big deal" bucket.

Adjust the chain…

Can we see the flush?

That handle isn’t the cimarron handle, that looks like a third party handle
That is the new Cimarron my friend. I have to say I prefer the original.
In the time you flipped that lever up and down you could have adjusted the chain, which would have taken about 30 seconds.
@@rosskapron3634 Why in the world would you replace a perfectly working toilet? Or did it break?
@@lukegray3169 this is not my toilet. This is a customer’s.
