Great video thanks Is it possible to do a pop off test on the bench,with these injectors if so what psi do these pop off at Also as they have a soloniod do these need voltage applied and how much in conjunction with psi to pop off, I have ford fiesta 1.4 tdci 2008, i have a 12v pulse tester that triggers the soloniod and a pop off tester, but pushed to 4000 psi and none will pop off, so eigther not anough psi or not enough of voltage I don`t know, All injectors from a running car but one intermitton,
So with the Bosch Meter Martin you are testing just one solenoid in a complete loop or since this is a Piezo are you testing the open and close portions of the Injector?
The bosch does a loaded test the fluke dont you can get good ohm readings on a normal multimeter who dont load the circuit, so if it reads good it might still not be and could fail when correctly load tested. Its why the bosch tester loads it with 100 volt Good videos id like to see more .

Awesome Martin! Never thought about testing Injectors like that. We have a couple meggers we use for hybrid work, will have to try this out.

How do you confirm which pin is for piezo stack activation so to wire up correctly with breakout leads

Martin, what would the first Megger you used have read across the pins like the Bosch on new & old solenoids ?
+1973Robski I would only use a Megger on an Insulation test, pin to body!!
