i really like the Ecu from these fords too, its not like if you set the idle speed a little higher than normal, that the whole car starts to lose power! The Ecu adapts to the new setting, and still runs like a beast! Cars like Vw one little change in sensors values, and the whole car runs like a tractor!

10.99 ( 100-200 ) for 440hp , that must have been a very optimistic dyno . my rwd 140i with stock tune and only dp did 10.2 ( dynoed 330whp ). with 440 real hp it should do a low 9 second time

I also think it has less than 440 hp, however, keep in mind that this AWD Focus has more weight and drivetrain loss compared to a RWD 140i. An xDrive 140i does 100-200 km/h in around 11.5-12 seconds.
Probably at the crank, i had an mk3 rs before my m135 and the ecoboost engine is a bit wierd,, sometimes it feels super powerful and sometime it's meh.

I don't know how you expect a 350HP car with such a good chassis and AWD system to cost 35k and also have a good interior. There needs to be a compromise, and in this case the money went into the drivetrain. The Golf R from that generation is at the opposite spectrum where the interior is nice but everything is lackluster aside from engine tuneability.
@@xIcarus227 There are many cars with similar hp, awd systems etc with much nicer interior. 35k is a big price point, there is alot you can get with that amount of money. You can get a used camero zl1, audi s3 etc. If you have 35k to spend on a car and your getting an RS, personally its a mistake.

There was no new hot hatch in the 35k bracket which offered similar fun and performance with a better interior at that time.

The focus weights 1.7tons and it has a lot of drag because of splitters and wings... I think that's why it succeeds these times
