***I'm absolutely astounded by the fact there are people who think it's 'unfair' of me to want to see Ajagba tested and beat someone decent, before I declare him "a future champion". And as far as my comments on his amateur career- amateur success doesn't guarantee professional success, but it certainly makes it MUCH MORE LIKELY. Most top amateurs become top pros- that is a fact. When Usyk and Lomachenko turned pro, EVERYONE was saying they were future champions because they were such dominant amateurs, beat all the best guys out there. But when you have a guy like Ajagba, who didn't beat any of the best amateurs (as far as I know), I'm far more circumspect. I can't for the life of me understand how that could be viewed as 'unfair'. Bizarre stuff***
What I think is wrong is saying be he should be tested as early as his 9th fight. That's unfair, it's better to say, let's watch him grow and when the time comes, he should be tested. Nobody fights a very tough opponent before their 15th fight. So let's just wait and see him gain a little more experience and when its time. He should be thrown in the deep end.
HatmanStrikesBack I agree he’s a devasting puncher but I need to see more from him and some head movement he seems a little ponderous I need to see him against some one that gets him on he’s toes and gets him moving a bit But I like what I see so far great video Hat
The fact that he made it far in the Olympic is a testament to his natural ability.Efe and some of the African boxers don’t have acess to all the modern facility like the one enjoyed by Joe Joyce and some of the other amateurs from around the world, trust me this guy doesn’t enjoy modern facilities as that one in Sheffield. For him to have come this far is through sheer determination, they trained under extreme difficult conditions with coaches who aren’t that knowledgeable with modern way of training boxers. Now that he’s enjoying those facilities, with a good coach, good nutritionist and good strength and conditioning coach and what have you,no doubt he could potentially be a world champ one day. There is no doubt about his raw talent and with the right planing he could be a champ. N:B if you wanna have a clue how some of these boxers train (including Efe Ajagba before he came this far)search the name prince Adekunle Kazeem on Facebook
Efe ajagba is my child hood friend he was born in Ughelli, Delta State Nigeria .He worship at Life Christian Centre Church at Ughelli .He is 24 years .he used to play football before and basket ball
I don't care if he is 24 or 34. I am a Nigerian and I am giving him 100% support. How old is the Cuban Luiz Ortiz? 39, 49, 59? Nigerians are can be annoying talking way too much about their athletes. To appeal to who? The West? Smh
@ Hatmanstrikes....I disagree with your assessment that Mansour came to survive!!! If you watch the fight, very quickly Efe established his towering presence which made Mansour to choose to fight on the back foot and counter. However, soon as Efe landed the right hand, that earned Mansour's respect and from then on, he knew he couldn't take too many of Efe's punches. Also he hit Efe with a right hand on the chin and Efe didn't blink. Overall when you hit someone and they don't feel your punches and they hit you and you feel theirs then the end is nigh!
Why are some people so hyped up about some contenders who just turned pro and haven't been properly tested yet, but they are constantly underestimating/insulting the proven elite pros?
that guy isn't born in 1994. That's a fact! Ajagba was born in 1986-1989 Africans lie about their age alot. When I went to school we had a Nigerian there who claimed he was 14 years old. He was easily 30. The class photo is legendary. I laugh out loud everytime I see the picture. The angry look on his face knowing he has to spend the next 5 years with kids in school.
He is not that similar to Wilder. I think Wilder is way faster and more explosive than Ajagba. Even physically speaking Wilder is taller and way slimmer. We have to remember that Ajagba is 6'5 and was weighing 240lb against mansour. I reckon he is closer to a Lennox Lewis in build than a Wilder.
Ajagba was basically training himself while in Nigeria preparing for the Olympics. We don’t have the facilities, nutritionists, coaches etc which would have been available to Joe Joyce in England or Dychko in Kazakhstan. Now that Ajagba is in Houston with a proper coach and proper facilities, his performance will be way different against these guys.
Ajagba should be around 30yrs old you're right another thing I see about him is he can take punch I saw his fights in the All African games in Egypt as well as one opponent who took him to later rounds in his 5th fight but I don't think he can rival Joyce now. He's slow his defence isn't that good he has good jab and heavy right hand punch. He will improve.
Efe beats Joyce at the moment. Both Nigerian blood but Joyce relies on his strength and Efe is a lot stronger and quicker, trust me. You don't underestimate the strength of these guys coming straight from the woods in Africa plus he is being introduced to scientific way of boxing. The difference in that fight will be speed and resilience and both will be in Efe's favour
I thought Efe could have done more against Mansour. He let a hurt Mansour land some shots he shouldnt allowed. However, efe did exactly what everyone thought he would do, dominate.
Looks legit dangerous so far. Crazy amount of leverage in his punches. But then again, everyone was getting excited about Izu Igonoh till he stepped up. Now wheres he at?!
ajagba is a monster. He has 1 punch power. he's more powerful than wilder. but i dont think he will reach the level of AJ. AJ would outbox him. i would like to see how he does against the likes of yoka, hrgovic and dubois in the future

HatmanStrikesBack Brother if you make it to the olympics you are elite level.
HatmanStrikesBack Absolutely Hatman ! Makes you wonder how people's minds work

Mansour announced his retirement immediately after the fight. Good luck to him.

Thank you. Exactly.

So? Why do you clowns go around badmouthing ur athletes?
You must have replied to the wrong guy. I can't understand how your comment was relevant to what I said at least.
Efe looks like solid prospect I really hope he’s 24 and not in his 30’s

Totally agree. Similar to Lennox Lewis except his movement is not as good as Lennox, however I think his power is better than lennox

Ajagba has the tools to climb up the ranks. Look forward to see what he has against a top tier in the future
Exactly. In the future. it's too early to request that he be put in with
top tier boxers now

Dude could you give us a link for those fights? I'm really curios about them. As i'm following agdjagba...
Loool he can’t be slower than Joe Joyce. His last fight with Stiverne was like watching in slow motion. 😂
@@Redo23 exactly my thoughts too. His a Ferrari compared to Joyce. Joyce fights like the tv is on slow mode.
@@Redo23 I swear I didn't even see that you said the same thing. His fights are always like that.

That’s true bro mansoar was pretty good a few years back he has been quitting even when he is up on the score cards.
He looks pretty accurate
As you always say Father time is undefeated.
These Nigerians are taking over.
Ajagba vs dubois
these Nigerians taking over combat sports
Mansour vs Cunningham was a great fight
He's not as fast as Wilder and has more thudding power than the fast snapping power like Wilder.. he is better schooled though you can see
The best boxer in the modern era Roy Jones Jnr
Ajagba is strong
just about to kick bk with my sunday dinner, then boom, hatman notifiction!!
Efe Ajagba is the Ike Ibeaubuchi of the modern heavyweight era !
Whereas Joseph Parker is the David Tua of this modern heavyweight era !
Kerr Prince not really
never heard of him but Nigerians are stern fighters so who knows.
Seems like a gentle giant in personality. Not a super aggressive testosterony guy. May get soft on the back foot. But otherwise he looks great.
Hartman I’m surprised at your review.Ajagba is just starting his professional career so please go easy. The Mansour fight was meant to be a step up.
Compare Shannon Briggs to roy Jones jr is ridiculous.
I thought Efe could have done more against Mansour. He let a hurt Mansour land some shots he shouldnt allowed. However, efe did exactly what everyone thought he would do, dominate.
I disagree that Mansour came to survive. He just realized he had no chance after feeling the power of Ajagba.
Looks legit dangerous so far. Crazy amount of leverage in his punches. But then again, everyone was getting excited about Izu Igonoh till he stepped up. Now wheres he at?!
True. But I still see potential in him. He just needs to sharpen his stamina and ring maturity.
I'd like to see him in a fight with Dubois or Hjorgivic later this year or early next year
Can wait til EeeAgugua gets hands on Dubios.
Bivol v Roy Jones. Both in primes? Who wins?
Aerobie Pro Dog 🧐Roy Jones
I meant who would win at chess or Brexit.
Why do all you Boxing FANBOYS automatically presume boxing?!
Stay OBJECTIVE people!
😜
Roy Jones 👐
Brandon Lee
Why do you think Roy Jones would beat Bivol at Chess or Brexit?
Didn't read it properly i don't know who would win at chess or Brexit its completely irrelevant they both aren't politicians ffs
Ajagaba is around 240-250 Lb, so a lot more weight than wilder,
Hey Hatman ..., Shannon suffered from the Drowning man's problem... Asthma... In the Pro Rank it was his KRPTONITE......
Devastation in the nation

wilder is much more powerful than him lol
@@adialsulti2873 watch ajagbas knockouts. he doesnt even load up. its like they fall over as soon as he touches them lol
Ajagba was knocked out in the amateurs. The hardest thing to improve is a chin.

Ajagba has never been knocked out! Never!
Why does Mansour looks like a old, overweight Nelly? 🤣🤣🤣
One word: retirement
ajagba vs luis ortiz
awh ajagba vs Joyce
Is that you dellian?
both nigerians dont want them fighting each other
Good fight! Maybe too early for Ajagba to be thrown in there with Ortiz or someone highly regarded? Be good to know

Efe!!!
Maybe he's a new Dubois
Him vs Dubois would be good though.
