Do you need to password protect a PDF file for safe-keeping? Follow along while this video teaches you how to add a password to a PDF file using Adobe Acrobat. Once you set your desired PDF password, you file becomes encrypted to add an extra level of file security. With your password set, you can now share your PDF securely - just be sure to only share the password with those intended!
To unlock a PDF file you will need to have the password handy. Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro and select the Protect tool to enter in your password and unlock your PDF file. If you previously set the password, you can remove the PDF password upon unlocking the document by entering in the password.

At best a waste of time, at worst a scam. First try: the encrypted pdf failed to down load, second try took me down the rabbit hole of creating an account, navigating through unfamiliar controls and still never getting it to down load. Now Adobe has harvested my details as well as the contents of the file I was trying to encrypt. Thanks for nothing!
