so sad to hear this about the international students :(( i’m from croatia and the main reason i want to study abroad is because i just love the english language and nyu just seems like a great school and they have a course i’m really interested in... definitely not all of the international/ exchange students are like this 🥰

i just want to share my experience as an international Chinese student, went to a small private school everything was fine the few asians there were super sweet. but in college, I've experienced so much micro-aggression from abc girls. one day I was sitting behind a group of abc girls in class and they were saying how the class they were TAing were all international chinese student and how that sucks, I swear I could literally hear her eye roll
You are in New York ! You can SPEAK in any LANGUAGE!!! Its multicultural.

What does the student body look like? I know there’s tons of diversity and in a different nyu video a guy said that like 80% of the students were lgbtq+ hahaah I’m just wondering is this true? What’s the breakdown? Thank youuu xoxo
yeahh I'd say it's pretty diverse compared to some other colleges my friends are in, and I honestly love it!! I'd say I always meet someone from a different background in every single one of my class.
I'm a junior international student and I'm interested in nyu MCC major and I was wondering about how hard is it to get in as an international student? and how is the major?
Heyy MCC is great, but it is pretty theoretical and "boring" at the beginning, but it opens up a lot of career options and you meet a lot of cool people haha. So def a good major if you're interested in marketing/ PR/ advertising etc. In terms of how hard, it is a fairly popular major, so it can be competitive. But I don't think we are as academically focused, so make sure to stand out in your applications with things that are unique to you! good luck !!
