3k is so extremely difficult, my starting planet have 4 bases and I feel like playing starcraft. I rushed missile and, repair station and signal tower. Still have to do some battle multiple times because I can't lose the precious buildings. I need to teardown damaged buildings mid fight to preserve them.
Hm, 4 bases look manageable with multiple signal towers and 30+ launchers. Just had to hide signal towers behind first line of babs. With a few cannons in the front row it becomes easy.
Share a seed? Yes, this one was particularly easy. Any run should start with two or three bases and 4th would take 19 minutes to arrive. Also you can get through the first wave with just the mech shooting gauss ammo and this does not explore supernova option that provides an 8x boost.
@@MrrVlad I played 81664191 max difficulty. Still moderate seed as the lava planet is not closest to the sun making titanium easier. Starts with 3 and 4th joins in shortly after. I made a reddit post to get input on this approach; hope that was OK. I did provide link so maybe you get some views ;-)
@@MrrVlad The seed I was wanting to make work was 00444352, it has a tidal locked lava planet and good O type stars + rare resources nearby. I know by watching Nilaus once you get past the conquering of the initial planet death worlds become a lot easier and that's the point I want to get up to. Videos like these are really helpful!!
yeah, that one is not easy because 3 bases are too spread out. With current layout my best bet would be to move the base to the iron-copper patch right near one of the bases and then build a second defense on the island in front of the several coal-oil deposits nearby. But this all can change if other bases land further away. In general I would recommend finding a different seed for the first playthrough - for example this one in the video is an easy one - and the 444352 does not have any blue giants, so it's not particularly useful for power.

Eh, not much belting here - can't afford to build much with those 3 slow construction drones :)
My max diff run had 4 bases with 2 attacking together so 2 turrets would not work but I did not know the armor trick (which feels cheaty)
