I'm a singer of 29 years in a semi-pro band and have been using a VL2 for over 7 years and it kicks ass! I've used it on songs by Journey, Aerosmith, Sammy Hagar, Poison, Scorpions, Prince, Quiet Riot, REO Speedwagon, etc. There's really no limit. You can even simulate a choir. I use simple to complex harmonies and I've found nothing that compares to this unit. Its actually pretty easy to use and very powerful. I can whip out a badass three part custom harmony in 5min. You can make a natural play harmony in 10 secs, just pick the setting, choose how many voices you want, play a few guitar chords and the key is set. I want to get the VL3 with the build in guitar effects so I can get rid of my other guitar pedal and compact to one. You will not be dissatisfied with this pedals capabilities and sound.
TC 's vocal pedal stuff has always been a dream for me when a band has been using them (im a live sound engineer)
They always sound really nice and the FX are unreal.

Honestly sounds like a cheap Casio keyboard from Walmart with some reverb and delay on it.If you like that sound you could probably score one for cheap on eBay. Just don’t see any practice applications for that effect during a performance in my line of work

Hi... great video... I’m a vocalist using backup tracks and decided to get rid of my heavy 8 channel desk and use virtual console software that came with the Apollo MKII interface... I thought I’d get really good vocals but still trying

Leo, wow can't believe as long and different you have done you haven't had a tc-helicon pedal, I've bee using one for years, I use the voice live play on stage all the time singing metal awesome for harmonies when your band mate don't like to sing get a MP-76 mic for them also you can control the pedal with the buttons in the mic. good stuff have fun with yours. make a cover with it..please

I LOVE my VoiceLive 3! I'll never have to buy a guitar pedal again because this thing is like 50 pedals in one. And not to mention the vocal processing for live cannot be beat. My only complaint is that the most recent software update has a few bugs that TC Electronic has not addressed for about 6 months now

I have TC helicon live 2
They are pretty durable. I think mine is about 8 years old. Carried it in and out of harsh weather/rain.
The only downside is having too much live noise especially in doors and with certain heavily effected settings, the background noise will pass through and it will get digitally garbled. It does so much but you need a lot of time to cycle through it all and when you are done.... found a couple of good settings did you? Wait, where were they again? Best to take notes when you have ideas and find settings that fit.

Idk, something tells me he’s not a huge fan anymore fan of the USA...he’s from Europe. Most people there are not, but that’s just an assumption. Still, 5 years later and no comments or likes...kind of answers that question, right. I think it’s a great idea, but I’m also an American who loves our beautiful (but flawed like all the others) country.

Im sorry to tell you but I think the guys that you know are actually from hell.
the reverb on the acoustic guitar reminded me to pantera's floods
I hate these things. My drummer and guitarist bought small vocal effects to get delay and reverb (our mixer already has these effects). They cause feedback, hiss and sound terrible. Both guys sounded much better without them. Plus now I (who stands next to the mixer) has to try and set their sound without feedback. It's a constant battle. Not to mention that my guitarist is a very good singer, so why use this thing? The guy in this video demos them great for theatrical stuff. But who needs this to sing a normal song?
