Currently, because this equipment is unreleased, there are no links available. However, when the products go public, I will update the description with links. For full transparency, none of the Nitze links will be affiliate. This video was just for fun :) Huge thanks to my friends over at Nitze who made this possible.
Thank you! Yes, more Nikon content please, Nikon gets almost no credit for having released some of the most capable video cameras out there in the Z9 & Z8.
I really appreciate these videos, Sidney. I have hobbled together a similar rig on a Z8 cage. One difference: I rarely use follow focus these days, so as a right-side handle, I am using the Nikon Remote Grip MC-N10. Works pretty well.
That's actually a very smart move. And it would fit well too because you don't really need a follow focus unless your moving between two subjects. It's Arri Rosset so it would fit where the Tilta handle does.
Nice set-up, although I'm not sure about the lens and follow-focus. I'd be interested to hear (see) how you get on with that for real life scenarios. I much prefer a proper cinema lens for manual focus, for more more precise control. Although they tend to be a lot heavier.
Sidney! Thanks to you I’m on the heels of switching to Nikon. Somehow I went from being certain I was switching to Sony to being completely blown away by what Nikon put into their cameras for video shooters. Honestly that Nikon MCn10 remote grip they are selling is becoming a big reason. Do you know much about that? More specifically do you know if there is a way to secure that usb cable on both sides? Nice rig.
The rig does come with a cable clip I just didn't attach it! I did see the grip and that would be my next option actually. I haven't had the privilege of playing with it yet though
@@sidneybakergreen wel if you do get a hold of the remote grip please think of me when making the video 😄 I’m a video shooter primarily but I want to believe I can downsize my bigger cinema rig to just a smaller lighter set up but a nice professional grip with quick access button is super key for me. I believe Nikon is on to something.

This is the truth!
I appreciate some Z8 content. You were on that Nikon grind before it was cool. Definitely rock with your content.🎉
Just what I was looking for. Tnx
Really liking that matte box the most but the whole rig looks like it feels good to hold.
The matte box is pretty dope! And you would be correct

Thanks bro. I’m looking into Nitze now
I love the colors of this video on UA-cam, what's camera you use?

You manually calibrate it to both ends.

Total cost (not counting body, lens, and card) ~$2,400 as of 3/1/24
Just FYI for the curious... I may have missed a couple things to be fair
