- Kyle Busch over-reacts as usual when Ron Hornaday gets out of shape in Turn 2 and pushes him up into the wall, so he wrecks him under caution and is parked by NASCAR
"CALM DOWN KYLE!!! Calm down. Calm down. It's all good Bud. Get off him. GET OFF HIM! Dammit! DAMMIT!!!" hahahaha His crew chief trying to calm him down. Like that would help.
How you doing 9 years later?

Even Kyle's spotter is pissed at him.
I love how Kyle tries to say you can't place all the blame on him. Excuse me? You lost your temper and wrecked a guy under caution. There's no grey area there. That's 100% your fault.
Fucking truck race and this shit head does this. for one thing, the 33 clipped the 07 which sent him loose, and the caution came out. also, IT'S A FUCKING TRUCK RACE. I agree with you that he had no right to do that. it was uncalled for and Hornaday did nothing wrong.
+jeremeymcdude you don't just go out and wreck people unless your crazy
He means cuz Ron hornaday is the one that started it which is true what holiday is a b****

@@lewisgriffin9684 no! Ron hornaday got loose! BOTH those truck could have gone on to respectable finished, possibly win, but, no! Crybaby Busch got his feathers ruffled... A DELIBERATELY, UNDER THE FUCKING CAUTION, wrecked hornaday! IDK what nascar let him come back after that
I remember watching this that night and was just in total shock. They parked him for the Sprint Cup race too, which he deserved. It was immature of Kyle but this was back when Kyle was VERY immature. Usually denying to talk to anyone whenever he didn't get his way. Theres no excuse to wrecking a guy on purpose during a caution. Ron had nothing to do with Kyles past bad luck. Why take it out on him? Kyle only cares about Kyle and still shows it sometimes today.
@@suckitdxit was payback for when Ron wrecked him in 2004 while killing Kyle's chance at that years Xfinity Championship.

And today on “The Kyle Busch Show”
Something that happened eight years ago that people still hate him for. Applying the same logic, shouldn't people despise Austin Dillon?

@@anthonyf.3009 Yes. If you wreck someone like that, you shouldn’t be racing.
@@nationalninjaleagueofroblo3992 absolutely not. Kyle Busch races to win , and he is passionate and will do anything for that win. Kyle Busch is a modern day Dale Earnhardt. If you don't want to win and you're scared of being competitive and wrecking cars to win then you aren't passionate about the sport
@@anthonyf.3009that happened last night
I never respected Kyle Busch after this moment. Hornaday got loose under a lap car. They were three wide. What was Hornaday supposed to do?!? This was one of Hornaday’s last chance to win a race at over 50 years old.
Every time I hear that moron being described as "misunderstood", I merely think back to this lowly example of homicidal rage. Ten years ago the outcome for Hornaday might have been an awful lot worse and then Kyle Busch is looking at a little more than two days off, a slapped wrist and a big "live and let live" campaign. Most of his other goofy stupidity I can roll my eyes at then quickly brush past. But I can NEVER fully erase this from the memory banks, even in NASCAR that vile display of retribution (for absolutely no reason) is unacceptable.
I agree I hate how he gets away with things just because the safety is top notch
kyle is just lucky that NASCAR has so much safety equipment. if that would've been the old days , with no HNS device , or no safer barriers. kyle could've gotten 1st degree murder
1st degree manslaughter probably
After 10 years and no one replied? Anyways Kyle knew this when he wrecked Hornaday obviously also he couldn’t get murder due to that would never happen even when there were no safety devices implemented and they weren’t racing in Daytona where it is more dangerous, they were racing at Texas.
Also, not often I agree with NASCAR, but great call parking him for the rest of the weekend. I thought it was an over-reaction at first, but then I saw the incident and believed it was the right move. As I said, he was lucky it wasn't for the rest of the season or beyond. Also worth mentioning that Hornaday did NOTHING. They were racing hard, he had to dodge lapped traffic, and he pulled off an amazing save to stop them both wrecking. Then Kyle throws his toys out the pram. Cretin.

If anyone would like the real story here, Ron wrecked Kyle Busch in 2004 and killed his shot at that years Xfinity Championship. He then waited for years just to get payback 😂😂😂😂. Justified now
Not the real story, try again please
Just realize that guy said "kyle busch should be parked for this race."
He put a big amount of damage on his racecar of course he wouldn't continue lol
Quentin Diaz back then you could fix the car/truck and come back out
Translation: "I'm Kyle Busch, I think my shit don't stink."
I don't care how pissed you are you don't flat out put someone into the wall like that! Especially when you're racing for a win, and he's racing for a championship. SMFH. Also hat could have ended a lot worse than it did. Suee Ron got loose and hit him, doesn't mean he deserves to get slammed into the wall. Rubbins racing. NOT turning someone into the wall during a caution.
ChevyChevelle48 and ending his championship hopes
@@racingiscool88 And no; having won more Truck Series Championships than any other driver in NASCAR history doesn't justify ending his chance at winning another in that fashion. It's not Ron Hornaday's fault he can drive NASCAR's super trucks better than anyone else.
In Montreal, Robby Gordon wouldn't go to the back of the line after he was wrecked under caution, and he was parked for the weekend. Just goes to show the inconsistency of Nascar rules
Ambrose spun him first (Marcos is still to Blame)
Kyle Larson gets fired from cgs for a slip up but Kyle Busch intentionally wrecks a fellow racer and is still in the sport playing victim! @nascar fix it
Gonna ban a driver who has matured alot for something they did 8 years ago? No.
And later on, Ron Hornaday struggled after that, all cause Rowdey Kyle Busch was mad.
I was watching a cat fight, and all of a sudden a truck race started...
First of all I am a Kyle Busch fan, and for Kyle Busch doing this is completely insane! First of all Ron got loose and had to check up into Kyle Busch ok big deal. Then for some odd reason he gets mad, so he tries to turn him when he tried to and it didn't work it should have stopped their, because now Ron gets the message Kyle is trying to say, but then he turns him head on into the out side wall still going around 110 mph. And Kyle Busch..... you are so wrong for that and you got what you deserved and maybe more.
+Zachary DeCiancio All I can say about this incident is karma's a bitch. Watch the 2004 Bi-Lo 200 @ Darlington. Kyle running for a championship, Hornaday acts like a total dumbass and costs Kyle the championship. While I don't support that kind of behavior, and Kyle took it too far, Hornaday had it coming to him.
Bret Riley Yet another constructive comment from a Kyle Busch hater.
+Bret Riley your a fucking moron u bitch its Ron's fault
Whether he got loose or not he still has to be in control of his truck and he would completely in the wrong but Kyle Busch should not have reacted like this under yellow you should have took them out under green
He didn't do it intentionally he got loose while racing Kyle was in the wrong place at the wrong time, no need for him to do that, that was idiocy at it's finest
watch dale earnhardt's crash.
watch this.
if kyle did this before the extra safety on the cars, hornady could have been dead. kyle should be in jail for attempted murder.
You should really just shut up okay, you clearly have nothing to do but assume something that might not be true so just please do us all a favor and stop.
Dude, how about you learn the story on how he died and then delete this comment.
Back when dale got in that crash they didn't have a HANS device, which avoids your head from moving freely and attaches your head to the seat, and thats how dale died, he snapped his neck because nothing was holding his head in place on that big impact. When this crash took place they did, so basically not very dangerous.
except horgnaday was going like 60 or more mph slower than dale, he had a closed-faced helmet unlike dale and he was actually strapped in and his seat belt wasnt broken like dale's. but sure
Kyle Busch has my utmost respect after seeing this. Hornaday has cost Kyle a championship before so this is justified as long as they are both allowed to race together.
Yeah everyone’s commenting here without knowing the backstory to this. Kyle returned the favor simple as that
How pathetic. Don't even bother calling yourself race fans.
Why I cheer when the 18 wrecks in any race any series

I'm not defending what Kyle Busch did, but I don't think it was just Busch's wreck that denied Hornaday the title. Hornaday had several other races during the season where he didn't perform his best because of unfortunate circumstances. It's too bad, but those results are racing. Also, Hornaday missed out on an opportunity to win at Talladega and chose to push Wallace to victory. If Hornaday chose to make a move for the win, yeah, it probably wouldn't have made a difference, but he could have won if he tried. And, if he won that race, not saying the wreck wouldn't have heavily impacted his points, but I can picture Hornaday being at least 30+ points behind Buescher after the Texas wreck as opposed to 48 or 52 (whatever it was). But, I still agree with the penalty NASCAR laid out because, retaliation is uncalled for. Boys have at it, in my view, is when you drive aggressive when racing for position and retaliating in ways that are more racing-oriented (a bump-and-run or slide-through for the win). Not just flat-out dumping someone in dangerous fashion, especially under caution.
Came here after last week’s Kansas race. Remember when everyone thought Kyle Busch was the reckless loose cannon? Now people are praising him for door slamming Ross Chastain. Somethings never change I guess.
I think being parked for the entire race weekend was too good for him he should've been parked for the rest of the season and banned from driving in the lower tier series them being Trucks and Xfinity
He was suspended from all NASCAR until the end of 2011.
Nearly did this at New Hampshire Today
Imagine he wrecked the pace car like Hornaday 😂
And yet Edwards doesn't get suspended for trying to kill Brad twice in 2010

@MrSpeed427 nahh he's gonna be one of those grumpy old guys that yell at everyone. ;)
I saw this when it happened and could not believe what i had seen. Hornaday did NOT hit Busch intentionally. You can see when they went three wide with the slower car Hornaday got loose and went went up the track trying to get his truck back under him. I can'[t imagine why Busch was so mad. He should have easily seen that Hornaday's truck got loose and he was not trying to intentionally make contact with Busch.- just trying to regain control of his truck so he fdidn't6 spin out

I love Kyle Busch, but attempting to murder someone on track for a series you shouldn’t even be racing in was not ok. I agree he should’ve been suspended from all 3 series that season. Glad he’s calmed down a lot.
I bet if Austin Dillon did this it would be "a racing incident" too right?
I think Austin Dillon has a little more brains and class to do something like that.
2 people may have gotten into that situation yes, but only 1 person ended it, not 2….
Just out of curiosity if Hornady would of been seriously injured or killed how would this have been handled? Legally or by Nascar this was so blatant and thoughtless just pure rage driving Busch!
This is off the wall, and y'all are gonna think I'm full of BS. This was a conspiracy designed to make everyone think Richard Childress hated Kyle. They were setting up Austin Dillon's winning the Truck Championship. My theory is: Richard payed Kyle big bucks to take out anyone standing in the way of Dillon's chance for the Championship. They had their famous altercation in the garage area, where Childress got Kyle in a head lock and beating on the top of his head. A few months later Kyle takes Ron Hornady out of the truck race at Texas during a caution. Ron was probably going to win that championship until Kyle took him out during a caution. They had a little contact earlier in that race but not enough for Kyle to do. what he did to Ron. Taking Ron out insured Dillon's Championship. Check the history if you don't believe me.
Yeah totally payed Kyle Busch to do that after Richard put Kyle in a headlock and punched him multiple times yeah totally did that 😒
When your dad goes up in you face disrespectfully 0:07 and you get payback on your dad 0:20

Kyle Busch should be luckly they did not park him for the rest of the year but I think he should have just like everyone else have been saying!
The fact kyle busch wasn't banned from the entire season still baffes me. This is unnaceptable, even by nascar standards.
This is how he went winless in trucks and xfinity in 2012
Calm down due calm down....DAMN IT! DAMN IT!
Also what the video doesn't show is that this was on lap 14... thats the worst part
Hornady lost control of his truck.he had that coming to him.
Thats boarder line attempted murder... one of these days itll happen and then what? Handle your business out of the cars not by driving someone head first into a wall

What a low-class coward Kyle is. Props to NASCAR for parking him for the entire weekend, perhaps that will knock some sense into his thick skull.
"And maybe the rest of the season 🤓🤓"

I love Kyle Busch 😂
Was there any punishment etc for this?
Almost none. Temporary suspension but right back in a few races.
Howard Stern total rubbish hey, I would even consider that criminal versus a racing incident. Imagine if he killed the guy doing that shit, I rekon he'd get charged?
I doubt that NASCAR or any other racing body would try to charge them because it would ruin the sport. The insurance for races and government oversight and lawsuits would be insane. They would try everything to cover up the intent and make it an accident. F1 literally did everything in their power to avoid investigations into the deaths of Senna or Bianchi to protect their financial interests.
Howard Stern you make a fair point. Just gets ridiculous when guys risk another drivers life/serious injury like that in such a blatant act.
@NR2003racer016 50 years?
Well at least Kyle changed since that race.

I'm trying to sound soft or naive but isnt this almost criminal? I know its during a race and what not, but crashing someone head first on purpose like that. If he had gotten seriously hurt could he have been charged?

Kyle needs to go to therapy and get straightened out not be the rage guy he is nascar would be better if he was GONE!!!!
Wrong. He's a coward when he has his helmet off and he's outside the safety of the vehicle. He needs to be taken to the outhouse and have some barnyard therapy like having the $hit beat out of him in a place where that kind of driver belongs. I'm fairly certain there'd be plenty of drivers who would volunteer a few of their own attitude adjustments to the crybaby's A$$.
Awwww a bunch of crybabies on a UA-cam video lmao
First off, no excuse for wrecking someone under caution, period. But since Kyle tried, his excuse makes no sense. He’s the one who made it 3 wide, not Ron. Hornaday had already started passing the lapped car when Kyle pulled up outside him. If Kyle doesn’t want people racing like that early in the race, Kyle shouldn’t race people like that early in the race.
@NR2003racer016 Fine. I'll give him a blue moon.
@CaseyTheHedgehog1 Are you serious with your comments about nobody can be hurt with this modern day Nascar?? Think again...there is always a potential for someone to be injured in any type of moving vehicle. To think otherwise is ignorance.
