After close to five years of watching your videos I've finally decided to take your advice and get there and paint some shit! I start my accident repair apprenticeship next week on the 1st of April and am absolutely buzzing like a kid on Christmas eve!
I really want to get into painting. Did you go to school before becoming a apprentice? Being apprentice you need experience before hand? What’s the advice for wanting to get into painting. I paint my own car but not with a gun. I feel like id be better with a gun.
Just started my apprenticeship at a restoration shop, boss is real old school and had me on the gun in the first week. Your videos have helped me out a bunch thanks mate!
Mate, You are the reason I own the Pro Lite....I'm not a fan of the Camo on this one but it is an amazing gun.... Thanks for all the Vids you make, I know it's a lot of effort !!!! Cheers - Johnny
Watching this video has me thinking. First, all I use is SATA. With that said, I love that Devilbiss can get their guns with graphics wrapped all around the body. Where as Sata’s limited guns fall short on the front and rear of the bodies. Great videos brother!
Hey ...Gunny!! Still have the Nebula and is running strong doing Aircraft Restoration jobs...my 80' Camaro will be getting new paint this summer with it as well. Cheers !!
Hell yeah a new gunman video on a pro lite while watching another gunman video on a pro lite 🤣 I just picked up a pro lite myself, just a plain black one though lol
I saw your video last week and ordered one immediately from Spray Guns Direct. It was shipped to the US and I received it in 2 days. They are a great company! Mine is number 199 of 200. It is an awesome looking gun. I have a question maybe you can answer. This GTI pro lite has a baffle behind the fluid tip that my Tekna pro lites from the States does not have. Do you know what is the purpose? Thanks for all the great videos!
Nice paint gun 👌 . Isn't the flat non orange peel a painters dream ? I know for reworks there must be an orange peel but if you had a choice painting the whole car would you prefer orange peel over the flat surface ?
Great vid gunman. What setup would you recommend, I’m a car mechanic wanting to get into painting. It will be just small panels etc to start with. Thanks
Gunman.. I was recently gifted a tekna clear coat gun and wanted to get your input on that gun.. any setting recommendations and air cap uses?? Thanks for another awesome video!
Hey love the vids. But have a question about the air caps. I’m in US so Tekna models etc. how does the TE25 aircap on the Tekna clearcoat compare to the rest of their caps? Thx
The new lights don't play well with the camera. Different leds can help color and camera. Look for the highest CRI possible. And thanks for the great videos!
I'd probably say go 1.2 as the spare because it gets less material on, so less chance of overloading the material, especially if you don't spray daily you're probably more likely to get a run or 2 if you use the 1.4
u r sponsored by devilbiss and thats why u put them on first place every time(im talking about videos like TOP 10 Spray guns or Devilbiss vs sata vs iwata +++++
Hello Friend 🙂. Devilbiss is very good spray gun. It is very interesting gun. Good film. Nice day for You. I greet You warmly with Solar ŻYWIEC kazek lakiernik fokstrot 🙂😉🦊FOX.
So according to the "internet experts" The Tekna prolites are different and spray different than the EU branded Devilbiss GTi pro-lites. They're also claiming that the prolites are "trash" now that the new DV1's are out. And a lot of guys are claiming that any devilbiss gun sucks because they are 'cheap' compared to SATA's. I'm also seeing guys bitching about colour matching and blaming the gun, or issues with metallics and blaming a brand new Pro Lite out of the box. CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a video explaining and driving the point home that all these modern guns really do kick ass, nothing on the market really 'sucks' anymore, and the gun has FUCK ALL to do with a painter struggling to get a good result. It's like they NEED the newest gun, or it's just not going to work, and it's the guns fault. I swear to god 90% of these "new generation" painters think they can blame the hardware, and that these brand new guns are leaps and bounds ahead. I've personally sprayed with some old school guns (early 80's devilbiss) and they've come MILES since then, but a bang-up job is still do-able on those old guns. These newer guns make the job a fucking breeze. Sorry for the long comment, had to vent a bit.

That's one nice looking gun brother
I love painting clear coat with the prolite, beautiful spray gun indeed. I'm using the yellow version with T10E nozzle
Thanks gunny, love it. Your videos never get old to me. I still watch your old videos and new videos man.
Thanks mate, hope you've been well.

Showroom floor clean
Those colors on that gun are gorgeous
Nice video, I purchased FLG5 based on your recommendation and its great got the 1.4 and 1.8. can't wait to add a pro lite te20 for clear. Thanks
You are the reason why I bought my Gti pro lite special edition, I love it , God bless you men!! And a like from North Carolina USA.
WOW!!
Another nice looking gun from Devilbiss!

Great job 👍🏽
Ohh that's nice. I've got the Spralien one myself and it needs a buddy!
Hey gunny I've use cromax pro and clear is very thick. I found 1.4 is the way to go with 3750s voc clear
Lol I'm just about to order a GPI because I'm just starting out. But daaamn I really want this now.
Awesome outstanding job thanks
just bought 2 devilbiss gti 110 pro lites was still using a plus gun nice finish 1.2 but waste paint like a SOB
Very nice man.....👍👍👍👍
Amazing results, I can't see any orange peel at all... looks like flow coating or better.. Thanks 4the vid mate!
Awesome gun
💯👍 I’ve got to pick myself up a T110 from SGD because I can’t get that flat finish out of the TE20 for restoration work
Hell yeah a new gunman video on a pro lite while watching another gunman video on a pro lite 🤣 I just picked up a pro lite myself, just a plain black one though lol
Pro lite the world!!! 😜
Came with te10&20 caps but no t110 though
Nice one. I think the T110 aren't approved for USA EPA laws
The Gunman yeah I wouldn’t be surprised especially here in California, they’re strict on EVERYTHING 😭

Sweet gun gunny! I love the camo wouldn't mind owning that gun myself
T110 aircap is monster cap
I want a Pro Lite Mini exactly like this but smaller. Not the old purple Sri Pro in a new color and call it Lite.
Nice work bro👌
Nice paint gun 👌 . Isn't the flat non orange peel a painters dream ? I know for reworks there must be an orange peel but if you had a choice painting the whole car would you prefer orange peel over the flat surface ?
Absolutely, but I don't usually do full resprays. No use in painting 2 panels and making it look like glass and not matching the rest of the car.
@@TheGunmanChannel that was my thought. You are amazing Gunman 👌
Good
Have you had a look at the dv1?
Great vid gunman. What setup would you recommend, I’m a car mechanic wanting to get into painting. It will be just small panels etc to start with. Thanks
Gunman.. I was recently gifted a tekna clear coat gun and wanted to get your input on that gun.. any setting recommendations and air cap uses?? Thanks for another awesome video!
where does one get 2k paint i do not think the auto zone/advance auto sell the stuff
Hey love the vids. But have a question about the air caps. I’m in US so Tekna models etc. how does the TE25 aircap on the Tekna clearcoat compare to the rest of their caps? Thx
Love my pro lites!! Woohoooooo!! Did yours come with the black pot? Mine did not😡🤬😡🤬...
T110 vs iwata ws400 what gun gives flatter finish?? plus how does the Sagola 4600 compare to the two guns? does it give as flat finish?
The new lights don't play well with the camera. Different leds can help color and camera. Look for the highest CRI possible. And thanks for the great videos!
🔥
🤘
Sooo what about the 1.2 is it useful for anything for a guy at home with a t110, or would ya just go the 1.4 as the extra tip?
I'd probably say go 1.2 as the spare because it gets less material on, so less chance of overloading the material, especially if you don't spray daily you're probably more likely to get a run or 2 if you use the 1.4
@@TheGunmanChannel yeh cool that's what I was thinking, thanks mate.
Unfortunately cant get this one in Russia, officials says that its impossible(
That Russian words mean - gun of champions
Cool!! Thanks for that

Yeah man, that's why I avoid paint forums. Too many arguments.
I was always told "a bad tradesman blames his tools"
Like from Russia )))))
What a Mercedes has orange peel, the brand is going to shit?
They've always had a very thick peel, at least they put enough paint on unlike most Japanese cars.
