Fun choices! And you have Holly & Ivy with the original illustrations.! My library’s copy had newer illustrations. I still enjoyed the book, but I really wanted to see the original illustrations. Yay for Elizabeth!!! Last Christmas is Paris is on my kindle - perhaps this is the year?? Or maybe their new book: Christmas with the Queen. We’ll see… 😉
The new illustrations are lovely but the original just takes me back to my childhood so when I found this copy online I had to have it!

I’m a fan of Angela Thirkell and am slowly making my way through the Barsetshire series. I loved High Rising and wasn’t aware of the Christmas volume, so I will be looking forward to finding a copy😊
