Back when Iowa came out. After I played it for about a week straight. I ran out and got a slipknot tattoo. Then got a number 8 pendant for my necklace. Back then he was my favorite singer and still is all these years later. He still amazes me and never fails to impress no matter what he sings and he littleraly can sing all over the map. I've been waiting on this album for many years. No slipknot no stone sour. Just Corey Taylor and his vision.
I paid Slipknot no mind 20 years ago, I thought I couldnt listen to that hard of a metal genre. At 40 years old, I have seen and lived through so much that now I feel like blasting Everything Ends everyday. I watched them last year and have slowly been a fan of Corey. He has such a great stage presence, command and performance. The music he produces in his bands and solo records are full of energy and I'm loving it.
I have to say, Mr Taylor you are a true artist. From Slipknot to Stone Sour to CMFT. Please keep making music as long as I'm alive. You have found that place that not many can find. You are that enigma, you weren't "supposed to make it" but you said "fuck that" and you become the standard. I love your music and what you stand for

I have acoustically covered so many if your songs like Taciturn, Miracles, imperfect, snuff, travellers or 1 and 2. I started out playing the song snuff at my brothers benefit after he overdosed last year and people asked me if I played out anywhere but that was the 1st time I've ever been on a stage. I survived my brothers overdose and survived my own addiction and beat it. You really did save my life! And I can't wait to hear the rest of your solo album, I've been waiting on it a d I love it!

Corey Taylor is the reason my taste in music has branched out to all the different places it has. Between Korn, Disturbed, and Slipknot I've seen so much of the past present and future of great music that it starts to melt my brain when I see the scope of my music library. From the 1920's to the next century, I'll be seeking out what makes music great and all because I got caught up in the wave of "nu-metal" that only lasted for about 5 years.
Little touch of Southern rock/country vibe to this one with the bad ass guitar riffs and head banging lyrics Slipknot is known for with a Stone Sour type feel. Hell yeah, I'm loving it!
