I definitely remember the 'Hey, buster' line from the 1970's (my viewing days). However, the musical sounds might be a more recent addition, since I somehow don't remember those.
They added sound effects to so many things....and background music to others....probably on the advice of their new in-house psychologists, or the assumption that because newer stuff is like that, they must compensate. I prefer it without those "dings" myself.

I remember there was sort of a remake of that years later done many years later (around the early 2000's or so) that was a mix of clay-mation and live action, where a child's hands (in time lapse) sculpt different noses on a person made of blue Play-doh. As far as I'm concerned, it was only seen in one episode (Episode 3975) and that was it. I really want to see that one on UA-cam.
