This is a quick tutorial on how to find perfect loops/circles in order to make floating cities. This feature was added today as a part of the 10/07/2020 update. All you are doing is expanding your map until you find a circle in the grid. Next you would build the floating base by making a cobblestone base, add a level and remove the bottom level. Build or adjust to desired height. It's very simple to do and makes for some great builds.

On iOs I find it by just moving around the grid with two fingers. It actually made me super picky about where to place my build as I end up "browsing" through the map to find an interesting grid pattern.
That's good advice! I'm used to playing on PC. So when I play on mobile I transfer clipboard codes via docs so I don't have to struggle to find circles lol

any tips on how to fine a circles in the open? cuz its taking my a little bit the find
Hi! All the circles are kind of scattered except for this one spot where there are about three of them clustered in the same area. If you are looking using the scroll method. I would suggest scrolling slowly. If you are using the block placement method I would try to go in the upper direction or North East as I suggested to a different Townscaper. If not I can also give you this clipboard code for the cluster I found as well as a really big circle. Please let me know if it works for you as copying and pasting the codes can be tricky.

How do I do this on an android phone? I couldn't find any of these videos for mobile. Is there a way to enable grid or do you just have to find it another way?
Open your menu and it should be under undo and redo. I used a clipboard code because I didn't feel like searching the small grid. If you do use a code with a large circle, it may cut the circle off, due to the grid being so small. But you can just adjust it.
On my iphone I can just use two fingers to move freely around the grid.

I'm trying to get every achievement in one world and I don't have circles anywhere in the one I've already done most achievements it which is really annoying
That's crazy! No circles at all? I'm not sure what version you are playing. Maybe the circles are sparse, or maybe you choose to build on a part of the grid where the circles just don't show up when expanded. If you don't mind trying on a different world/game file, I have some codes with circles you can use. Give me a second and I will add the links below.
Not sure if you can copy these from a browser on your console. I assume that's what you are using because you can gain achievements? If you can here they are. I hope they can help!

Lol! It can be a daunting task sometimes. If you still havent found any, below are some links to grids with circles. I tend to save my grids so I dont have to look for new circles. These are not all that can be found but it is a good start. If you have, sorry for the late response! ❤️❤️

No. It can work on ovals or rounded squares or any shape with rounded corners.!!
