No Boy, No Cry is easily my favorite. It’s kind of when things took a darker turn in the show with Sasuke leaving, the song itself and the animation feels somber yet positive simultaneously? The nostalgia is so real guys 😭
Just over 13 years later, Yuma Yuma is still one of my favorite openings. It was the end of one of my favorite anime’s of all time. Time sure does fly.
Man, all of the openings are so damn good. For me, 5 and 6 are probably the most nostalgic. There was a brief period where I kinda fell outta naruto, but when I saw on Cartoon Network, the recap showing sasuke leaving, while the team members join naruto on his mission to retrieve sasuke, I was hooked again. And That’s not even mentioning the pure excitement in our voices, as you’d talk about choji going butterfly mode, or any of those fights, while you’re on the playground with your friends during recess. Naruto is a show that really has touched a lot of people, and I love that, even with its flaws
I know it may not be the best opening, but the feeling you get while listening to Fighting Dreamers is something else. It perfectly represents the series in my opinion. Energetic, optimistic, loud, but with a surprising depth in the lyrics, just excellent.
I spent my entire high school and community college career just binge-watching Naruto on my iPod, but only the first 5 openings and the 9th opening were etched into my brain. And hearing them all now is bringing back so much nostalgia it’s killing me.

The first song is so nostalgic, so relaxing and reminds me of the good times of Naruto. I know that the history has a lot of problems and things that could have been done in a better way, but i still love this anime since my childhood.
I have immeasurable respect for the animators that help create the animated series that many enjoy to this day. I am aware animation is not a simple task to accomplish, including when animating in different camera perspectives.

I love all these, but for me op 1 takes the cake for the soul reason that it’s the only time you ever see Sasuke, naruto, and Sakura as kids still working as a team and friends
I’m saying this now. The first opening will always be the best and my favorite! I have people telling me the 2nd or the 4th is better. I really like the 2nd opening, but the first opening is so nostalgic and has that classic Naruto Vibe.
Classic Naruto was the absolute best Naruto. The days back when every character mattered and the politics of the ninja world was a more interesting concept than how many justu combinations Sasuke can do with his susanoo to defeat Otsutsuki number 12. Also the dynamic between Sasuke and Naruto in the first opening is so heartwarming! It feels like that was the friendship they intended to build up to but were forced to prematurely alter the plot before they got that close.
When I was first watching Naruto on TV, I only ever heard "Rise! Chew your sock" for most of the beginning. But I'm glad that we can all agree, no matter when you jumped in, that we are Fighting Dreamers.
