Great interview. Alain is one of my favorites. I listen to him in my car nearly every day and wish I was young enough to pick up the bass and be half as good as him.

Fantastic interview! Good questions, the interviewer is great and charismatic, and Alain just as wonderful as always. I've been curious as to why Alain hasn't put out any solo albums in a while, and it's good to know why. I have to say, a jazz album with a string quartet sounds very promising, I'm a sucker for jazz with strings.

Oh to be living in Montreal and have the opportunity to study with prof. Caron!!! I’m in the wrong place in the wrong time...but I’m so happy to see a player of this caliber sharing the knowledge and the experience. For young players, this guy is the Grail. ☺️
