** Pulitzer Prize awards are handed to the photographer not the camera!
So, truth be told, it's the person holding the camera is the artist creating the photo, NOT THE CAMERA.
*In this informative video, we will dive into the world of cameras and lenses for photography. Join us as we review different cameras and lenses, and their performance, providing you with the knowledge and skills to enhance your photography skills. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, this UA-cam Channel will help you capture better quality photos and have fun while doing it. Don't forget to subscribe for more exciting content on all things photography!
*Next, understand the foundation of this channel and photography itself, "the camera does not make a bad photographer a great photographer", a camera of $42 or $4,200. will not create an award-winning shot.
As far as post processing your work, well if you want to get the finest image you can after the shutter clicks, you absolutely must do some post work.
If you ordered a meal at a restaurant, would you like the meal better if the chef tweaked your food to the highest pro chef level? Yes of course.
    ***Why are CCD cameras better?
CCD sensors create high-quality, low-noise images. CMOS sensors are usually more susceptible to noise. Because each photosite on a CMOS sensor has several transistors located next to it, the light sensitivity of a CMOS chip tends to be lower, as many of the photons hit the transistors instead of the photosite

**I completely understand buying on eBay is scary. However, when you are ready to buy your camera or lens on ebay, use this checklist I have created...
    1) buy from a seller in Japan.
    2) they must have 100% positive feedback.
    3) they must have at least 100 Feedbacks.
    4) the listing must say MINT OR EXC OR WORKING OR TESTED OR LIKE NEW.
    5) you must understand the camera will Not be the cheapest one on ebay.
    6) I try to Only buy cameras and lenses from Sellers in Japan

    Must Read
"Photographic art overlaps with the landscape, portraiture, and other photography types. It is defined by the artist's vision and approach to get distinct photographs. Unlike other forms of photography, fine art photography is about capturing what the artist sees instead of what the camera sees. It is just another tool for artists to produce their art."
(Quote from N.F. I. The Nashville Film Institute)
**The CCD was invented in 1969 at Bell Labs by Willard Boyle and George Smith. Since that CCD FILM LIKE SENSOR was sensitive to light it was used as image sensor for video and TV cameras. It could also be used as a memory device or analogue signal delay since it's principally a kind of analogue shift-register circuit.

Congratulations...I own nearly every Nikon Camera they made. But after 5 decades of buying Nikon, I have learned to buy them on their 5th birthday, used but minty, and save 65% of the new price.

Your photos are a reminder for me of what gets forgotten at times. The miracle of being alive! The mystery and complexity of existence and its ephemeral
    nature.Don't stop your photo classes.

I still enjoy using older equipment. I was out in my yard a few days ago with my Nikon D100 (bought new YEARS ago) and a 105 AF Micro Nikkor 2.8D and took some close-up flower pictures. I'd love a new Nikon mirrorless but my DSLRs still work fine for what I do. :)

Some of us don't need it, but we still want it! Good stuff Carmine, well done on the photos. And you are right, older cameras still take great pictures.

A great set of photographs. I use a Nikon D7200. I am a long way off of out performing my camera. I just enjoy being out with my camera working on my photography well aware that it’s not the camera that is not the camera fault when the photograph is not as good as it could be. The joy of learning.

Great video! I use my D3 and D4 all the time. It's still all about light and composition, not the newest expensive toy.

Carmine, im still using my , nearly, 20 year old Nikon D80. Beautiful camera for my capabilities and would recommend it to anyone. I was told many years ago, "it's not about the latest camera, it's about the creativity and enjoyment you get from getting out with a camera" .... thanks for the video's Carmine, always interesting and inspiring. All the best, Floss.

      Floss and Carmine,
My Nikon D80 is one of the best cameras I have purchased. I agree it is a matter of knowing your camera as one learns how to read the light for their compositions. However, I am an event photographer at my Church and the Z6 III will give me greater assistance in capturing keeper photos in difficult situations.
Carmine, I like your collection of photographs!

Exactly, I don't even need D700/D3 to have high end focus, I just enjoy using high quality manual lenses with mid-range bodies.

Thanks for the photos and yes older cameras provide excellent images. But for those of us who do a lot of hybrid video shooting, the Z6III is the first Nikon with industry leading video specs for less than $3000. I’ve been waiting a long time for this combination in a Z mount camera.

Indeed Carmine. The other reason I have for not buying a Nikon Z6iii is I'm broke! But seriously think what a bonanaza of used photographic kit you could assemble if you were fortunate enough to ever find $1500 bucks in an old coat pocket.

Carmine, great video and point of view. This also applies to Hollywood and film used in motion pictures. Today, digital cinema films are archived on Film! All good reasons to embrace the "old" technology instead of all the market driven digital overflow we are exposed daily with new cameras. These camera companies are worse than the automotive industry, with "new and improved" models every year or 6 months. All goes back to what Ben Franklin said many years ago...."a fool and his money are soon parted". My outlook at 77, Take care and keep up the great lessons.

One reason why I want it, I shoot birds in flight, and this camera is way more capable than my Z6 first gen. It also gives much better performance with my old 80-400, and other adapted Nikon F lenses.

Out of all of the cameras I own I am enjoying the Nikon 1 J5 & V3. Small & portable and the Photos look fantastic. Don't mind the 2.7x Crop and Video good enough. V3 only has stabilization at HD 30fps and J5 HD 60fps. Cheers!

Ah, the old need/want thing. For me it's the Zf rather than the Z6 iii, but the same thing applies. I want one, but I certainly don't need one. 😁

Thank you Carmine, some really beautiful images in that set. 🎉🎉🎉.
I recently bought an original Olympus E-M1 with a 1 year warranty for $AUD399. The camera is in full working order and is in excellent condition. Lovely piece of equipment. 😊

Many beautiful and compelling reasons not to buy the Z6iii and the living proof that great photos didn’t start to be taken in 2022 or 23 and certainly not in June 24 :-) But the sales and marketing departments of the photographic industry have been quite effective in creating in us the need to buy the newest and latest…

Well, obviously you have proven that it’s mostly the photographer and not the equipment.
The new cameras offer ease of use, fast burst rates and a little better ISO capabilities.
    I am a proud owner of a D700, D800 and a Z8.

NO...STOP....Nikon D700 is a camera that is such a classic do not cut it up...INSTEAD go to ebay..like I did...buy a fully converted Infared camera ready to shoot. I just saw one for $120.

    The single best reason....
Because it's a full frame camera, and I would almost never have enough reach for the mostly small birds I chase.
Nikon needs to hurry up and at least match Canon's R7, to put some fire under their but... To hurry up with the R7 Mk II.
