Fully upset. Such a great theme. My younger brother and I loved it. Rest in peace bro. 33 years old is no age to die. This song makes me full of sadness for your memory
That music is so evocative. Bleak and mechanised... No wonder it was used in the Ariston advert, although I'm not sure how suitable it was. As far as I remember, the music in the film was nothing at all like this.
You must mean the ZX Spectrum plus with the Yamaha Sound chip which was made by Amstrad later on.The original ZX Spectrum wasn't capable of these sound effects.
Dunn tried really well with the AY chip. It was always quality. No disrespect but Daglish and Hubbard did straightforward conversions which were not bad but could have been better. I made some pretty good tunes in basic on the Amstrad which were very good. My mates loved my music.
Well it's not too bad A lot better than the original ZX Spectrum beeps At least the CPC had a decent colour pallete and quite solid and well defined sprites

i loved this music, i ran robocop often while getting ready for school, just to listen to the intro.
Same!!

What's a dislike?
It was Jonathan Dunn. You can find some pretty good remixes of this wonderful tune out there.
Great work, Axelino, CPC 4ever!
I was 13yrs old when i first played this game...oh the memories :o) great thing the music still sounds good.
Used to love this game. Maybe loved the music more than the game itself. Awesome!
And on and ariston
Best version ever coded.
This song has no right bopping as much as it does...
a good.rendition of a pokey tune , ported.from speccy

Robocop goes ON AND ON AND ON because he was secretly made by Ariston.
wow! luved this game & soundtrack....takes me back to 89
So sweet remember... One of my fav video game music since I was kid. Thanks for sharing ^^
Actually the Amstrad has a bigger screen, thats why ports of spectrum games use a smaller part of the screen.
Understand what I mean?

I was 10 years old when I played this
The GB version's even better than the C64 version. Proof of that, the Ariston advert.
I always loved you.
This music brings back great memories. Axelino, thank you very much!
It's EXACTLY the same as the Spectrum.
Are you high? This music is amazing.
My favorite version with gameboy one , thanks for sharing ;)
digital voices were nice too !
1 ... Serve the public trust
Cool! I remember this game and the music was awesome! Nice post!
Great film too.
I want to play this on my CPC emulator NOW!
Great vid, thanks for sharing.
The overall tone of this song is so wildly inappropriate for Robocop that it's borderline trolling
Mon enfance !!!
This used to be my favourite game!
Yes I got my Spectrum 48k in 1984 and upgraded to Amstrad CPC 6128 in 1986
The Amstrad had nice graphics but the screen size was often very small
It's a sweet little tune
Ranch or cool ranch?
takes me back
@themadstuntman By that you mean the GB version of the music? I'll PM you it. Commenting it here would be plugging and that's not cool. =P
