I think they’re waiting to see if BI is willing to change his game and shoot more 3’s. With the cap increase next season, I can see CJ getting traded next offseason and BI getting a max offer. I think the Pels want to see how this core plays together 💯💯
You're absolutely right about the organization wanting to see Ingram shoot more 3s, and that's why they're trying to get rid of him Ingram is 26 years old,the same age as Jason Tatum, and Tatum surpassed him by a mile. Tatum is not injury prone like Ingram,he wants to shoot the three, unlike Ingram, not wanting to the 3, and he's just an all-around better player than Ingram. The Pels have seen enough from Ingram and they are trying to see if Trey Murphy can be a starter with Zion because Trey is willing to stay out of that paint area with Zion and shoot that 3 at a high percentage. Ingram is too selfish, pertaining to not sacrificing that middy. On a Sidenote, Zion is injury prone as well, and Zion refuses to rebound defensively and shoot a face-up/3 point shot. The Pels are going to be mediocre again because the franchise subconsciously thinks that their one player away from championship 🙄 which is bullcrap and also they low key have overpaid, lazy, selfish players that supposed to be the leaders of the team.
As a fan that only missed ONE single game this season for a concert, this is the best case scenario. CJs numbers look unreal, they look fantastic, but day in and day out he would crumble in the second half, take the most unrealistic shots after wasting the clock, chuck up hail marys that have no business going in, and sometimes outright refuse to pass the ball. No member of the team has broken my heart more consistently at the ends of these games than CJ McCollum. Maybe he has great locker room maturity, but to say he has maturity on the FLOOR is not realistic. He may not be a big complainer or foul baiter, but his style of play feels amatuerish at times, which is a real shame considering how excited I was being a fan of CJ and Dame back in the day when we traded for him. Hopefully BI makes the right playstyle change, as much as I adore the mid range, with DJM, BI needs to and has the opportunity to play a more efficient game. Looking forward to that, and hopefully seeing more progress on the defensive end again, both him and Z made huge strides on D going into last season.
Thanks for vid. I’m a Pels season ticket holder. I love Ingram. I think the coaching staff isn’t doing him any favors, and he may be a lot better on another team. The real story of the Pels is the poor management, and wasted assets. Griff foolishly traded away the #4 overall pick for Jaxson Hayes, and hired 3 diff disaster coaches in 5 years. Also doesn’t help that the league keeps its boot on Zion’s neck with the ridiculous officiating.
tbf, jax had good potential if he was willing to learn, which he wasnt, but willie has single handedly changed the culture in the locker room and we have drafted really well over the last 2-3 years, if karlo and missi develop well over the off season and BI is willing to take more 3s, even maybe benching CJ for herb could really make us scary in the west
