I met with Jorge Castilla-Echenique (Daktari) many years ago , working with at European Commission - ECHO.
More than 15 years back I think.
He has not lost an inch of his beautiful humanitarian spirit and his commitment to make his difference in the world. On the contrary.
Part of the interview is at World Health Organization Headquarters and the other part in the field, when he went to deal with Ebola and COVID.
It was a Sunday , he had COVID himself, he was in the field. Yet he gave his time for this interview for #LetsTalkHumanitarian, a programme I was blessed to host for KALU Institute, with Alberto Martos Sauquillo and Carlos Afonso.
