Another wonderful video chocked full of creativity. So much fun to watch, listen and learn. PS: you have a very calming voice - when your videos are playing my 3 kitties come out of hiding and congregate at the tv and cuddle up to nap, while I take it all in. You can add cat whisperer to your list of many, many talents! :)
hahaha. Love that comment about your cats and how the cow painting in the video is titled "Bird Whispers", and you say I would make a good "cat whisperer"! Thanks Debbie, for making me feel great!
It's really true,my cats come to sit on my art table to listen & watch you. They also love listening to Louise Fletcher, whom I affectionately refer to as my 'art therapist'. One of my cats is my biggest fan when I paint, we have at least one session per day together. He enjoys black the most😄
Your bracelets are unique😊 and really master pieces. Wonderful !
Thank you so much 😊
Just love your amazing videos ❤
Thank you so much 😀
I love so much your art ! Your sweet voice, your wonderful ideas, your videos, and paintings. Your cows are so cute and funny 😅😊Thank you from France🎉
Thank you so much 😀 Yes- the cows make me smile.
Love love that bracelet. So pretty.
Thank you! and hello!! Hope you are well!
@allisondawrant hello hello. Yes alls well. Hope your having a great day! Stay warm. X
Love your channel Allison. I'm waiting on my first BeamPaints order because of you! I love that they are Annishnabe also, as I am a Nishnabekwe' myself!
Thankyou so much Stacy! You will love your beam paints! Thanks for sharing your connection.
Every stroke you made is poetry- so very artful! So inspiring!
Thanks so much - I’m so happy you enjoyed it!
Dat was geweldig! Dankjewel ❤
Thankyou and hello Nicole❤️❤️❤️
Wearable art!!!! I love that ❤
I love how supportive you are of other artists/companies etc. I love those bracelets. Hope and I make jewellery and I also use ello to make funky earrings.x
Thankyou Sasha❤️
Love your work and your videos! I get so much from what you share - thank you ❤
Thanks so much!
Beautiful art and videos. Love your expertise and calmness. Thanks for sharing the names of the artists on the Almanac. Looked for them on UA-cam and IG. Watched videos about LaQuisha Hall, love her art and her survival story and what she now is an advocate for. Can't wait to watch the rest of the fabulous artists. Again, thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see your next video. Blessings!
Thank you for watching and sharing your comments Lisa. Yes, LaQuisha is very inspiring! I too , need to look up more of the contributing artists as I don't know all of them.xx
You’re spoiling us with all these videos 🥰
Thanks! I'm glad you are enjoying them!
It's adorable.....the cow and the bird.
Thankyou so much. It is called "Bird Whispers".
I’d love more info about your gorgeous bracelet creations! I also had a metal and beaded jewelry biz prior to moving into other art and had issues with my hands which caused me to have to take a long break from it. I’ve miniaturized my artwork also for jewelry and this bracelet idea is quite intriguing! Love your work! And thanks for the intro to the calendar artist…I’d love to buy her calendar and support her in her recovery from the hurricane. We flooded for Katrina so we know full well how difficult these things are to weather!
Wonderful! I will do a video about the bracelets over the next few months! thanks for watching and for supporting artists!
Don't worry too much about the mess. Heard a quote from Julie Fei-Fan Balzer "creative minds are rarely tidy". Love your cows! and you make jewelry too? wow, that's wonderful. You are very creative and inspiring. Love Cathy Nichols art and classes as well. Took an Area Garvey course as well that you encouraged. Collage is so fun......Love bookmarks as well and it's a nice gift you include with your beautiful art. How do you find the time to do all that you do? Thank you again for sharing.
Thank you for the kind words and for supporting other artists. 😊
33:00 re: avoiding dust after sealing your watercolor art…have you seen those little yellow plastic thingies that look like mini traffic cones, only they come to a point…with the intended purpose to elevate, for example, just-painted cabinet doors while they dry? I use them when I’m painting canvases flat on the floor…but I wonder if you could flip your sealed piece upside-down while the wax cures so the dust can’t fall on the surface?
That is a brilliant and worth while suggestion to try. Thanks so much Erika!
Do you sell your bracelets❓❓❓. My 3rd order from Beam Paint Co is in the post office waiting‼️‼️. This will be my first regular sized ones. I bought 2 of the small palettes on wood and a bunch of refills. I decided I’m gonna order 4 at a time. The colors are beautiful. Love your art, love your videos🩷💜💚🩵💙🧡❤️💛🩷
I don't sell them at this time, but if that changes I will let you know. Sounds like you will be "beaming " soon with your new paintstones!
Opus & Deserres are both Canadian & have stores in Vancouver BC. Opus has 3 locations, downtown Vancouver, Granville Island & Langley.
Thanks- do you know if they ship worldwide?
Deserres Ships to Canada only & you’ll find a link to shipping info on their website. I’m waiting to hear back from Opus as I couldn’t find a link to shipping on their site.
Opus ships to Canada & USA only.
Hi Allison. Love the bracelets and would love to see a video about making them. I used to make jewelry, too. I worked in semi-precious stones and sterling silver. Many wanted custom necklaces, but I didn't take orders either. Sold what I made at craft fairs, too.. Moved onto painting many years ago.
thanks Libby for watching and the encouragement
Just had a thought that you might try a shammy cloth to buff your wax medium. Dust free I think.
Thanks for the tip! I'll have to try that.
What size is that Derwent Dagger brush?
I think it is .5”.
