    They invite you to Islam because they think you are a good person and have a kind heart, so they want the best for you. And they always ask about your religion bc religion is most important to them. Even the children will ask what your religion is and how you pray, etc. They are raised from a very young age with religion being uppermost in their lives, so can't fathom ppl not being religious or not believing in God.

      Yeah, while u guys are at it respecting ur own religion, would be awesome if u can respect other religions as well. 😊 So long Bamiyan Buddha statue.

      @@-Michelin So, there is a difference in what is meant by respecting religion. I think in western countries religion can be viewed as a concept. In Muslim countries, respecting a religion is connected to the people practicing that religion, so permitting non-Muslims to practice their religion. Throughout history, Muslim nations had many Christians and Jews living and thriving in these countries. Even Afghanistan had a considerable Hindu and Sikh population who practiced their religions, had their own temples, and flourished financially. They only left AFG after all the wars started.

      ...if the west or western people are so concerned about womens rights ....why not start with countries like France? where they are restricting choice of clothing for women ......and denying education for women who cover their bodies
      Would you Guiseppedfraia advise YOUR daughter/mother to go traveling to school ......when even the men were wary of traveling a few years ago because of a lack of safety/security....an education from which she will get no job because of the economic state of the country due to western sanctions...or whenemployment is gained .....they may have to do sexual favours to officials
      ...or would you advise them to stay home in safety and security and self educate/homeschool
      Are you qualified to critically/negatively comment on an Afghan society/culture/reality ......which you do not really know about ?

    Yes, Hospitality is one of the pillars of Pashtun traditions. That's why Taliban did not hand over Osama to USA. Osama was considered the guest of Afghanistan as he fought for Afghansitan against USSR. Beside USA did not provide any proofs against Osama. In Pushtun tradition, you are not allowed to kill even your enemy if he asks for your protection. Pusthuns have large families and the cousins etc all live close by in various houses. Once there were two families who were enemies, they were living in different places. A person from one family came to the other and shot one of the their man and made a run for it, but he was almost caught as the family member of the shot person chased him. He took a refuge in a house and he was not aware that the house belongs to one of the cousins. The man was taken to a safe place, released and warned that next time when they face, they will shoot him. It may sound strange to certain people, but it is a part of Pashtun culutre. Anyway, since we have Islamic Emarat, no more enemities between families and nobody can dare to shoot anyone.

    Every person on earth needs to respect the differences of others. We were not intended to be duplicates of one another. We are all originals and one of kind. The sooner all men realize this, the sooner we will all live in harmony and happiness. By restricting someone else's happiness because of your personal beliefs, is restricting your own happiness by proxy. It will eventually come back on you. Live and let live. I am not Muslim, but I treat every person I meet the same until they prove me otherwise. I look forward to visiting Afghanistan one day.

      Hi Giuseppe,
      Thank you for your letter.
      One thing that you need to know is that women are NOT oppressed in Afghanistan.
      Because Afghan women don't follow western values and lifestyle doesn't mean they are oppressed.
      In fact, Afghan women in general would view western women as oppressed and degenerate. An Afghan lady, who is modest, fixated on her femininity, natural in her nurturing character, would find a western woman to be degenerate and 'loose' as well as very repulsive.
      Muslim women are truly women, they know how to raise children, and they understand their role in society and embrace it. They value the family structure and allow men to be 'real' men, and they themselves value their being 'real' women.
      This might be difficult for you to grasp or understand due to the societal conditioning you have undergone in your western lifestyle and culture.
      Thank you for reading this
      Your truly
      Muslim

    @callum Abroad - the hot spring being used as a place to treat skin conditions doesn't come as a surprise to me. I bet there is something in the minerals in the water that help, the water is warm because of volcanic activity below, so it's likely to have a high mineral concentration, probably not fit to drink. We have a similar hot spring in AJK in a place called tattapani (translates to hot water). Again people go to the springs for treatment of skin conditions. There is no ways the same beliefs exist hundreds of miles apart in different cultures, without some sort of evidence.

It's good to see these countries he visits aren't what the western media portay them to be. Some of the nicest most genuine people I have met have been Muslim from different parts of the world

    Im not Afghani but thank you so much for showing the true light. However i do advise you to learn a little of islam, just consider it for a little. I recommend youtube channels like One Message Foundation, The Muslim Lantern, Dawahwise.
    Youll learn a lot, and find out why Islam is the fastest growing religion yet the most attacked religion in the world. It defends traditional values and is in line with our natural disposition. The message of Islam is to worship the One God worthy of worship alone, and follow the teachings of his messengers, such as Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and finally Muhammad. Moses, Jesus and all these prophets were muslim as they submitted their will to God (definition of Islam) and spread the message of One God.

    The UK government really needs to speed up negotiations with the Taliban, it is a fact that they are the rulers of Afghanistan and the best way to influence them is to have relations with them. There are many resources in Afghanistan that the UK could use, getting a foothold is crucial for the future ok the UK.

      @@phoenixrising8640 unfortunately that's what's on offer, as Afghanistan is unable to use or mine anything themselves they would be better selling the rights to do so. Afghanistan is already being used for "political games" by various nations, unfortunately Afghanistans geography doesn't allow for a completely independent governance (unless they can carve a path to the sea)

    Remember Callum, whatever your experience with Muslims good or bad, don’t use that as your measuring stick regarding the religion. People are always fallible regardless of the religion, the Book i.e. the claim is where you look and evaluate. There can only be one absolute truth; the reason you are here, your purpose and the life after this. That purpose isn’t creating UA-cam videos, racing to as many subscribers as possible so you can earn easy money and not work, not that I’m criticising those who do! There is only one thing in life which is a guarantee and that’s death my friend. Your belief/religion and how you lived your life is going to determine your condition in the next. May Allah guide you to the truth.

    • @CallumAbroad
      @CallumAbroad  Рік тому +4

      Yes I agree. UA-cam ain’t my job. I said pretty much the same thing as you in a recent conversion. I hope god (in your case Allah) can guide some of the Muslims who are killing other people in barbaric acts to stop and to follow Islam correctly.

    • @imranb4985
      @imranb4985 Рік тому

      @@CallumAbroad For sure. Just so I can make things a bit clear for you when it comes to 'God' and the origin of the Abrahamic religions, they all originate in the middle east. Jesus never said the word 'god'. god is an english word and Jesus never spoke english nor was the religion translated into english until much later. Jesus actually spoke Aramaic and the word for God in Aramaic is Elah. Arabic and Aramaic are sister languages, originating from the sematic languages i.e. Sam the son of Noah. So Allah is not just my God my friend, He's the Creator of the universe and the God spoken about by all the prophets and messengers, the 'father' in Christianity.
