Supra Enzo gave me my first 300 first game out of box. Trying to decide if I need this piece.
All time favorite Motiv balls
Blue Coral Venom & Covert Tank
That was a good one yea!
Just bowled with my first ever Motiv, Blue Coral Venom. So far I like what I see from it.
Have you rolled the ion pro yet? I’m curious how they compare
Nice! That one looks really good!
@@frisbeefrolf Nope, no Ion Pro.
Ghost is one of my favorite balls of all time but my Forge Ember on the right conditions is amazing love that ball.
Aloha Luis.. my favorite Notiv balls are the Blue coral and the recoil
I loved the recoil! 🤙🏽
My Supra GT shipped today 🙌 😁
Let’s go!!!!
You mentioned something about underlying grit on Motiv pearls that I agree with wholeheartedly. If I see 5500 LSP on a ball, it's almost automatic that I'm going to resurface it. I follow Storm's 1500p process (500 + 1000 + Step 2) when I can, but with Step 2 being discontinued, I've been able to approximate it using a used 500 pad and then finishing with Ultimate's QuikCut. It doesn't shine quite as much when I'm done but it's a much better surface on the ball. I don't miss the spot downlane nearly as often. Love Motiv, but I don't love their box finishes on anything other than their 1000/2000 grit solids.
ball looks ok but i think it would be much better down to a 4000 or 3000 grit for cover make it grippier. that 7-8 was scary
That’ll make it even smoother!
@@LuisNapoles ok the thing is l thought, and it worked for me, on my ocean vibe. this gt has a 5500 surface on it, the ocean vibe had a 5000 on it, out of box, l cut it to 3000 and it made it more controllable and gave it finishing punch and drive. it seems that ball is deflecting and needs a bit more grip on the lane, just asking, learned from your videos. been in this game for 40 yrs and just past couple of years starting adjusting surface because of your vids and it is helped big time.. was just a thought. i think you need more bite on the cover to make it drive more
Seems like your hand is a lot more on the outside of the ball than a couple years ago and doesn't look like you're projecting as much as before. Looks less fluid. Keep up the grind, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
Eventually I will! Just hard to practice with a baby at home!
looks like the ball is doing exactly what the numbers sound like it'll do. The cover is waaaay too clean to be thrown on anything remotely fresh. I mean 5500 polished isn't really going to dig into anything. Especially with a max diff of only .040. So I think you just weren't using it on "the right conditions" for what it was designed for.
This wasn’t fresh!
@@LuisNapoles even still. The Motiv website itself is even saying it's a dry-lane ball. You said you did a review for a solid ball and then another guy threw a few shots... I don't doubt the lanes are transitioned, just probably still not enough for what that ball was intended for. No biggie, they are just tools after all. Some tools are meant for certain jobs yet they can still do others. All good man 🤷♂🤷♂
Maybe the surface adjustment will really effect the back end entry!! Great video by the way.
MI
Thanks!
I absolutely love my Enso !
at 4000 surface is best for me.
Lets go!
I love and still throw the Supra Enzo!! Hands down best Supra in my opinion. Paired with the Venom Shock it's about all I need. Two favorite balls are Shock and Black Venom.
We need to see a surface change video with this one
Will do!
Luis nice running in to you @ Corp. Thanks for the information.
Yea was great! Anytime!
I need a ball recommendation for a rev dominate lefty that does not have much side to side movement but also doesn't over react to the dry boards on a house shot. Too stubborn to practice rather buy a ball that moves less side to side.
Lewis I'm going to try your go to layout 30 x 4.5x30 on my Forge Flare
I hope it rolls good for you!
Would like to see a review on the nuclear forge and raptor fury and the pride dynasty
If I can get my hands on them I def will !
favorite motiv was the jackal ghost >crimson jackal >Hyper venom.. curious to add this to my bag with my hammer black pearl urethane
Nice!!
I had the supra rally really liked that ball but favorite motiv of all time was the primal shock and now venom exj
Primal shock is so good
I had OG supra and liked it. . Right now my favs are the Black Venom and Primal Shock. and I still like the Pride series.
I have a blank black venom! Hmmmm
@@LuisNapoles you will like it .. a good solid peice ..
You need a different ball to throw so we can compare the reaction to make sure it isn't just the lane. If this ball won't corner like you said, throw the ball that is your go to deep angle and big bounce off the outside, back end ball
That’s a GREAT suggestion!
The ball reminds me of the old Enzo. Not boomy off of the patterm. Also it looks like your hand is doing something different at release. I looked at vids from winter and you were much more behind it. Just a heads up. Not sure if thats intentional or not.
In throwing it like shit right now lol
It's polished and 5000plus .its gonna skid in the middle and react off friction on the right..
Jackal Ghost is my favorite but the Primal Shock might be the new winner.
It’s so good!
Good morning Luis Napoles
Hello
My favorite Motiv balls are the Venom Shock and Purple Tank.. and i still miss the orginal Jackal
Nice choices!
I am an EXTREME rev dominant guy, struggle on drier house shots but bowl well on long sport patterns. Weird i know, lol. Just looking for a ball for dry that will not constantly 10 pin on me, even a hustle xray burns out for me. If it was up to me i would always throw urethane
I love my venom shock. I can use it on a lot of different oil patterns. benchmark ball
Agreee!
Robin morrison from South African good go bowling 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦☝☝☝🙏🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏👍👍👍🇿🇦
Let’s go!!!
Yep, if Louis would have just given the GT a 2000 pad lightly just to break the cover, it would have popped like he wanted it to do
Surface won’t make it shape more to make it earlier and smoother
How about starting right and moving left instead of anticipating hook..
You should review the nuclear forge, that's an awesome ball!
I want one!
@@LuisNapoles I bowled my 2nd (unofficial) 300 with mine! Bowled 290 them had the first 2 of the next game. Really good ball!
Honestly very surprised you didn't see the big shape downlane with this one. That's all I've seen with mine. I know you mentioned a little surface and go from there, I haven't surface mine yet but I bowl on extremely high friction surfaces where I live. I think maybe a light resurface, 500, 1000, 2000, polish may crack the cover to get you that big wheel shape that I know this ball is capable of
It's looking like there's a lot of friction to the outside of the pattern and a lot of oil in the middle. The Supra GT is built for light oil conditions, so when there's a puddle in the middle of the pattern, it's floating through and he has to keep his angles tighter. You can see when he misses outside and the ball hits that big friction spot, there's plennnnnnnty of reaction. It just looks like he's not really using the ball on the conditions it's intended for.
Looks like it could work straight up the 2nd arrow, not pushing right so much. Just have to dial in the speed.
Oh maybe!
I’m wondering when we’re going to see the Hyper Venom review Luis?
Never lol I don’t have one
If you can review more hybrids and solids that would be great I like all the reviews you do it’s great info , but with my speed dominance I have been told to stay away from pearls
Will do!
I thought the supra's where more for dry lane conditions ?
Was that Jamison Payton here in St Louis
That’s my guy!
I thought this was a dry lane burn ball? Can't imagine it doing anything on the fresh.
This wasn’t on the fresh
Can u review the Hammer Effect? I only throw Storm family but the Effect might be my first non Storm ball
That went live today!
Cool video talk tech bowling ball Luis napoles
Thanks!
@@LuisNapoles your welcome
I can’t throw my Supra rally on anything that’s not burn, and I mean burn burn. So I would imagine the GT needs probably the same amount of friction, lots.
Yea its a burn ball for sure
I've never owned a Motiv ball, but I'm scheduled for my first Motiv purchase this Friday. I'm still trying to figure out what to get. I'm stuck between the Thrill series, Venom Black, Venom Coral, Venom Shock, and the Hyper Venom. I'm mostly into the Black, Shock, or Thrills, though. I'm kinda short in the middle of my arsenal. Any suggestions?
Venom shock or pride dynasty would fit the middle great
@joeltouchard1155 thanks for the advice!
As a first Motiv ball I would 100000000% recommend the Venom Shock and it’s not even close
Maybe it needs more transition... or scuff it up a little?
Maybe!
I prefer the hyper venom
I don’t have one! 😭
FYI you were always Motiv Lou to me ...
Thanks for the support! 💯
That ball is so slow!
5500 with polish? lol
I was gonna suggest 3k no polish.
Very interested to see either that or 500 or 1000 then 2k with compound, or both ways to see the difference?
No polish will make it even slower lol
Vemon shock, nuclear forge
Bet!
@LuisNapoles im.starting to like the new EJT shock also
Ball needs a different layout. Putting the same layout on all balls somewhat fights the nature of the ball.. If I put my typical BENCHMARK layout from my Venom Shock onto my Supra rally, the rally would look like JUNK. And with that same thought, if I drilled up a jackal ambush with my BENCHMARK layout, due to the nature of the ball being SUPER strong cover with a big core, it would make it TOO strong and unusable on most conditions. I always recommend everybody have 3 layouts.... a Benchmark, a stronger roll layout, and a LONG & SNAPPY layout. This ball needs a LONG & SNAPPY layout. Watch my video on the Supra Rally, the ball covers all 39 boards and then some. 😂
It’s just what I do for the channel
Bro, is that a Supra?!
Yes lol
I think it would look good on high friction lanes
Agreed
Not every ball works on the fresh. That ball is probably awesome on the burn
This wasn’t on the fresh..
I think hitting with some surface may get want you wanted
That’ll make it even smoother!
Hate to say it but i think you’re just not rolling the ball as well lately. Gotta work on your physical game. You’re a great bowler. Just got some work to do. Hand is on the outside and on top of the ball at release… look at your video from the altered reality video from 2 years ago…you created much better ball roll then. Check it out
Oh I know that for a fact lol I just don’t practice as much as I used to now that I have a kid
That ball does not look good at all imo. Needs surface to read a foot or two earlier
Stick with SPI. These balls are not good.
😂😂😂 that’s all I gotta say about that
Wow this looks to be your least favorite all of all time
Not all time haha but I don’t love it
Good morning Luis Napoles
