Gail Ann Dorsey is a mega talent. Bowie was too, of course, and he had the amazing ability or incredible luck to be able to find others like him and work with them, often before the rest of the world really knew who they were. Mick Ronson, Carlos Alomar, Luther Vandross, Brian Eno, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the incomparable Gail Ann Dorsey. Apologies to the others that I left off the list.

She is so incredibly talented. I've heard this sung by lots of people. Some good versions but few get close to Bowie's version. Gail is as close as I've seen. Being so close to him obviously had its dividends.

So nice to hear a faithful cover/rendition of a song in 2022.... most covers these days just slow the song down to a dirge and sing in that annoying hiccupy voice with silly octave leaps on nearly every other note, plus they all insist on changing the harmony _AND_ the melody -- I bloody hate that .

Lors du concert de Pau, cette interprétation nous a tous mis par terre. En tant que fan de M, de gail Ann et Bowie, c en était trop pour moi. Ému aux larmes..Morceau lunaire…Gail Ann est un ange, une voix qui prend aux tripes. Merci pour ce moment qui restera dans les étoiles.
