There is no such lower limit. You just have to refer what is relevant for review. But yes for some journals there is a limit for maximjm number of papers to be refered.

liked the video..Have a question. You have mentioned in the video, that a good review papers have at least 60-70 references. But if someone is writing a review paper where not many research papers are published, what should be the ideal number of references incuding the web pages. If you pls give an idea on how many research articles and how many web articles at minimum... Thanks
If the topic is such that you do not have much papers to be refered, you can publish with any number of references.
There is no research in arts subjects truly nowadys but based on vote poltics. And who has mind go into the science where it deserves. I have no phd degree but 5 of honours. Statement is based on the way the professors teaching in the class nowadays.

Depends upon the journal. Although not mandatory but most journals asks for a cover letter while submitting an article.

It totally depends upon you. Your understanding, grasp on topic, reading and analysing abilities, writing potential and consistency. For one of my reviews I took about 7 months, as I was less consistent. You may complete it in a month or a year, it's up to you.

But i am not much financially stable at that moment. I am a scholarships student. So during covid i started job and my education is also continued at same time. I only able to complete my course work during that time. I am also untouched with the studies for more than one year.

Not required. But you need to cite. You need permission to redraw or use figures from authors/journal. Am I clear?

@avex0118 i managed to write it and submit it on time and got 97 out of 100. i don't even remember how i did it. With that adrenaline rushing through my body, i think i could fly a plane or something 🙄

I just learned about you, and without any doubt, you are doing important work. As a response, the thought came to me to ask if you might assist me with my question.
I conducted a qualitative (mixed) study with six people. To support my results, I used two-scales with different lengths. My issue is how to compare the average score of two scales for each respondent in a simple way by bringing two scales at the same level. As my sample size is small, so I don't need any quantitative analysis method.
I couldn't find a video demonstrating how to compare two simple scales or bring them to the same level.
Please share any videos that are linked to this issue. I will be grateful to you in this regard.
that a statistics person can tell better. I think if you multiply both the scales you get a single value that can be compared. But I am not fully sure if its the right way. See if correlation analysis works for you.

Cite the original paper you refered. If you refered a review then you may also cite the authors of review.

Thanks for writing. It is not at all necessary to use a reference manager. You can manually format the references according to the journal style. It's just that using reference manager eases up the work. Further, if you have to switch your review to another journal, you may have to reformat the references.

Can we publish it without a supervisor? If a person is writing a review article that is no longer student of Ny institute then how will they publish it? Please must answer my question. I have asked to many but none of them give me relevant answer
Publishing without a supervisor is only recommended if you have experience and knowledge about the topic. Because without a supervisor, you will be soleley responsible for everything. Regarding your query, you still can pubish without a supervisor. You can mention you affiliation as Independent Researcher or your home address. Hope this helps.
How many years old articles can be taken for writing a review article? could it be five years old or more than it?
It is advised to always refer latest publications. However, if relevant and important the original or primary paper although too old must be refered and cited.

You can publish on your own too. Just be careful that you have followed all the ethics and it is scientifically written. This is one of the reason you do it under experienced supervision of a corresponding author.

Ask for permission from editor of the journal. or contact journal support. you need to get permission if you use image as it is.
Is writing in our own words a plagiarism in review? Or even rephrasing the paragraphs from other articles?
The truth is, if you are citing the article refered is not plagiarism as you are giving credit. If you are rephrasing it without citing, it is a plagiarism. But most of the times the software you or journal use show the content as plagiarism even if you have cited properly. Best way is to cite and rephrase.

If you have time and resources you must try for it. Collaborate or contribute to other researchers to get more papers. Otherwise, atleast you should write a review. Hope this helps.
