Well I'm not Christian, but I literally read the Bible almost everyday now since my Christian friend always talk about it. And somehow I really enjoyed it. 😜
If anyone is struggling to read the Bible, let me tell you I’ve been there too! I urge you to pray to God and to ask him to give you the thirst to read His Word as you thirst for water or hunger for food. I also looked for a plan and I’ve been sticking to it. I’ve been reading the Bible consistently (and also studying it using study Bibles and commentaries). As Kaci said in the video, God is so amazing and *His Word lasts forever!* I struggled for years to read the Bible but now I look forward to reading it everyday. If I can do it, you can do it too! ❤️

Thanks for spreading Bible. I was non Christian. Ever since Jesus touched me and gave me his word. Bible changed everything in my life and brought peace which I was searching. Praise Jesus.

Awesome video! I have read my Bible regularly for the first time in decades. What changed was getting online studies for a particular book. Then I can do a study alone on a certain book eg Ephesians. Then answer questions etc. That’s helped me understand parts of the Bible chronologically and there was continuity.
Love this! I wrote out the20 reasons why we should read the Bible. I'm going to write out the scriptures & keep it in with my Bible reading plan. Definitely going to make copies & give them to my children. Very inspiring! Ty ❤🙏❤🕊❤
Great teaching! Reading the word helps us connect with God so much it keeps us steadfast and enduring. For me personally when I stop reading as much I start to not want to pray or do anything but the moment I get back in the word , I start to get closer with God and I’m enthusiastic and on fire again‼️
I love this video! You did an incredible study by aligning your thoughts with His Word. Number 18 stood out to me because we all go through times of “feeling” nourished or malnourished when reality is, His Word is the food.... just like in life you may “feel” like to skip a meal or not eat on a regular time basis - it effects your body ha! So to be in routine of getting spiritually fed is vital!
I love this list of reasons and had to write down every bit of scripture you mentioned! Right now I'm doing a Daily Grace Co study on Psalms but a lot of times I also like to just read without a structured plan. This was so inspiring, thank you!
Love this so much, Kaci. You look absolutely gorgeous. You are such a light. Honestly, it's hard to pick one because all these reasons are equally important. But becoming more like Jesus motivates me most when I study the Scripture. Soo good, the Bible is sweeter than honey and more precious than gold yet I often take the Bible for granted. You have such a amazing light to you that Jesus definitely used as a beacon for others to be drawn to him😇 but I wanted to ask what your schedule is for reading your bible, because I typically do my reading at night before I go to bed. So, I was wanting to know if there is a better time to do it to make me more engaged in his word?
As Christians we follow Jesus example, He did know the Bible from an early age and He quoted it in times of need. We should do the same since we are no better than Him. We should also pray more
This is a commendable teaching, it truthfully is sad you felt you need to rush through it so quickly especially as it is the very thing new believers in particular will be looking for. Your familiarity with the scriptures is not in its infancy, but we should never forget from where we have come.
I am catholic but I grew up around church. My uncle is priest. Two years ago, I went through the hardest season of my life. I had to say goodbye to father as he went home to Heaven. Ever since his passing, I have been in a season of hunger of wanting to know the Lord more. I love listening to worship music, especially in the car when I'm alone and I try my very, absolute best to read my Bible app. Do you have any other advice for a beginner like me?
I am so, so sorry to hear about your dad 💛 it's amazing to see how God has brought good from that pain in using it to increase your hunger for Him - but I know that doesn't take it away. It's so amazing you are wanting to know God more! The things you've suggested are great. I would say definitely consistently reading the Bible and praying is top of the list as far as knowing Him more. I would also recommend getting connected in a local church community (as much as you are able with current restrictions) - God designed us for community and we grow so much in it. His Word gives us the promise that when we seek Him with our whole hearts we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13) - so I'm so excited for you to continue seeking Him. I hope that helps and I am praying for you now! 😊
My deepest condolences to you kelsey, please take to heart that are good works will never add up to God's standard, The bibles says that all have sinned and fallen short of Gods glory, and if we are judged by the ten commandments we will fall short of them. So as a beginner Christian I encourage you with that Keep going girl!
