Had one, man what a masterpiece of design. Crashed it like 7 times, was never able to destroy it. Best memories ever made in one of them. Mine was 86, and came with the plastic flap under the neck. Thank you for the video, smoke all that neighborhood with that 2 stroke beauty.
@@protechfitness891 mine was a FA50 and were many on the block, used to race with these things on the early 90s. At some point i guess the (facelift) Suzuki added the front basket and the plastic flap under the neck. I was never able to put my hands on an FZ. My first job was delivering cells phones around the streets of Caracas in one of these master pieces. I left it behind when i moved to this very great nation. After explaining to my kids what my first job was, decided to look a video to picture them the bike and ended in yours. Most sincere thanks, lots of great memories revived and they had a lot of fun watching it. Listening to the sound i even remember removing the clip on circle air filter cover for more air flow and maybe making it 1 m/h faster. Did some researches, probably my set up was for south american market or more Japanese style with less american regulations. Will try to upload a picture.
@@darwingortiz7013 here it is om a trailer that I rebuilt from a boat trailer, you have a lot of history with the FA- my neighbor think I'm crazy by applying engine oil in the winter on the body and the tires and rims to keep it out off humidity. @@SgtJoeSmith Hi Joe, I owned 7 motorcycles 2 Suzuki's FA50 4 Honda from 1964 1971 1982 and 2020 and 1 Yamaha 2018 all i have been use on them 93 octans also even my cars. I think you can give a try. BTY! I don't go over 20 per hour on the Suzuki.
@protechfitness891 I used 87 on my fa50 in 90s. Could get 20 to 25mph on flat street @200lbs. Up to 40 down steep hill when I guess governor cut out from gravity or something. 14k miles on it. Been stored 20 years now. Higher octane just prevents pre detonation in high compression engines. Fa50 was 8.5:1. 90+ octane is for 10:1 or higher usually

How does it handle hills/steep inclines? This would be perfect for getting around my neighborhood going to the gym
it dose pretty much the same on hills or flat road, when downhills it down shift when release the gas.
for your own info! use Gear Oil SAE 90 -500mll (not 5w30) otherwise you will damage the transmission
Coming soon in the spring , SUZUKI FA50 YEAR 1980 VS HONDA NCW50 YEAR 2020

I ues premium gas 93 Octane- it run much better!
